Closing Vehicle Comments

This car really speaks for itself. Hard to beat this car especially at this price. There are very few, if any, 599s out there in this beautiful color combination. There are also very few cars out there equipped with virtually every available option. If you require any further information, and are fully capable of purchasing this vehicle, please feel free to make an inquiry and I will provide any information I can to help you along as you make your decision.

The condition of this car speaks for itself. Feel free to come look at it and examine the paint with a meter or with your eyes. Examine the interior. Look all you want. Just as I reacted when I saw this car myself for sale before I bought it, you will ask yourself, "Was this thing ever used?"

If you have been looking for a 599, or a different car in this price range, this is very likely the car for you. The price can't be beat - it's the lowest-priced 599 on the market and it has the most equipment. If you have an offer in mind, please keep in mind that I can happily refer you to the more expensive 599s out there on the market - there are plenty of them, as I am sure you know.

Selling because it is just time to move on.  I am an experienced Ferrari enthusiast with various Ferraris.  I have no financial need to sell this vehicle.  I will sell it by choice and at a **fair** price!  Thank you for looking! Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Auction Rules

**Buy It Now**

"Buy It Now" is a serious commitment.  Do NOT take this option if you are UNPREPARED to IMMEDIATELY pay the FULL asking price for this vehicle.

**Private Buying**

Private inquiries and telephone negotiation are preferred.  Ebay is a form of advertisement.  I am a human being who can be easily reached by email and then via telephone once the conversation has started.  I expect a potential buyer to be the same.  Kindly provide your telephone number or at least your email address when contacting me.  Omission of this information will suggest to me that the interested party is not serious enough to want to be contacted or to want to speak directly.  If you are a mystery Internet lurker who remains faceless and voiceless, we probably won't be doing business.

**Shipping**

The purchase price of the vehicle does NOT include shipping to the location of the buyer. That additional amount is to be determined later, if necessary.

Privacy

By contacting me, any interested party who contacts me regarding this vehicle for sale thereby AGREES to keep private any information exchanged about this vehicle or any arrangements made to the effect of a transaction pertaining to it.  Any dissemination of such information to any other person or place, whether public or private, on the internet or anywhere else, will be considered a violation of that agreement.

**In layman's terms: I'll be perfectly happy as long as you keep our discussions between us and us alone!  I value my privacy.  Thank you!**

Thanks again for looking!

Gooding's Pebble Beach auction tops $128 million in sales

Wed, Aug 19 2015

While the million-dollar cars are now packed up for Monterey Car Week, the auction results keeping rolling in. Gooding & Co. set a two-day company record by moving over $128 million in beautiful classics during the event. Of the 115 lots that sold, three brought over $10 million, and 26 more went for over a million. In a surprise to no one, a Ferrari led the way when a 1961 250 GT SWB California Spider sold for $16.83 million. That was a new single-lot record for the auction house. In a close second place, a 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Speciale previously owned by famed auto designer Nuccio Bertone went for $16.5 million. Rounding out the top three, a 1982 Porsche 956 that won Le Mans in 1983 cleared $10.12 million. Porsche also grabbed fourth place with a 1960 RS60 going for $5.4 million, and rounding out the top five was a 1957 Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series II Coupe for $5.1 million. Check out the gallery above for a look at many of the beautiful vehicles in the sale. While the press release below lists the top sellers, you can check out the prices and info for all of the lots on Gooding's website, here. Gooding & Company's Two-Day Pebble Beach Auctions Realizes More Than $128 Million 3 cars sell above $10 million, 26 cars above $1 million New auction records broken for Ferrari and Porsche Pebble Beach, Calif. Mansory La Revoluzione shows at least a little restraint

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

Mansory has, yet again, taken a supercar and turned the dial up to 11. Or maybe 12 or 13. This time the base car is none other than the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a V12-powered GT car. Compared to Mansory's previous Ferrari GT-based creation, the Rambo-inspired Stallone that had used both the 599 and 612 as its base, the new La Revoluzione is a welcome departure.
While the Revoluzione isn't what we'd call subtle, especially from the very front- and rear-most views, we appreciate the small amount of restraint Mansory showed when styling this deep red carbon fiber-bodied car, at least on the outside. As you can see in our image gallery above, the interior of this creation is quite loud and perhaps a little bit obnoxious.
We can't argue with the results seen underhood - claimed horsepower sits at over 1,200 from a twin-turbo 6.3-liter V12 engine. That many ponies pays the expected dividends in performance, with a 0-62 run of 2.9 seconds and a top speed listed at 230 miles per hour. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above.

Ferrari and Jaguar dominate the 2017 Arizona Auctions

Mon, Jan 23 2017

The 2017 Arizona Auctions took place this past weekend, and one look at the results should be a reminder that big-name auto auctions are no place for mere mortals. Aside from the fast paced nature – seven auction houses moved 3,486 vehicles across the auction block – the rarest and most desirable cars sold for more than most people will make in a lifetime. There were around 20 cars that sold for at least $1 million, with Bonhams topping the list with a $7,370,000 1963 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight. Despite $259.8 million in sales, Hagerty reports that 2017 was only the second biggest weekend in the Arizona auction's long history. The figure was up $9 million from 2016's total, but much of that increase can be attributed to the 12-percent increase in the total number of cars auctioned. The average selling price was $89,601, with the vast majority of vehicles selling for less than $100,000. Aside from the 1963 Jaguar E-Type, there were a number of rare and noteworthy vehicles for up for grabs. RM Sotheby's $6,600,000 1939 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster was the runner-up in value, followed closely by a $6,380,000 1952 Ferrari 340 America Competizione Spider from Bonhams. The various top-10 lists were awash with Ferraris and other European automakers, though much of the lower-end sales were populated by classic American autos. Most of the top sellers were built before 1970, though the occasional newer model (1995 Ferrari F50, 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, 2006 Ford GT) made it through. Based on 2017's overall theme, it appears that interest on cars from American automakers is on the rise. Hagerty notes that a number of 1980s American sports cars like the Chevrolet Corvette and Pontiac Firebird did surprisingly well. Look for the 2018 auctions to see if the momentum continues.
