Ferrari F150 Enzo successor is Geneva bound [UPDATE]

Ferrari has announced the automaker will debut the company's "most powerful HyperFerrari [sic]" at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The news came courtesy of Instagram, where the Italian automaker posted a familiar-looking rendering with a quick note. Details are still remarkably scarce, though Ferrari says the successor to the Enzo throne will be able to "turn into a corner" as quick as a Formula One car thanks in part to the fact that the road-going machine will feature as much downforce as an F1 competitor. From what we've heard so far, the Enzo replacement will boast over 800 horsepower from the combination of a V12 engine and a HY-KERS system.
We've already heard some interesting tidbits about the new machine, including the fact that each model will come with a driver's seat tailor made for the buyer. Ferrari says we can also expect to see a quicker 0-120 mph sprint than the old Enzo with 40 percent fewer emissions. Stay tuned for live photos from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
UPDATE: After some looking into it, Ferrari does not appear to have an official Instagram account, or at least doesn't list one alongside its other official social accounts. We're of the mind now that what appeared on this Instragram is not officially from the Horse's mouth.

All four Ferrari hypercars hit Fiorano at once

Some supercar fanatics would give anything for a chance to drive a Ferrari, much less one of its flagship hypercars. But this one lucky devil got to drive all four of 'em. At Fiorano. Of course this isn't just any old lucky devil. He's Dario Benuzzi, who's been Ferrari's chief test driver since 1969. That means he probably knows the company's private Fiorano test track better than anyone, and he has one of the best jobs in the world. But even this had to be a treat for Benuzzi, driving the F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari back to back around the circuit. (All they need now is a 288 GTO to round out the action, like one owner did when he drove down to Italy with his best buddies in a convoy of scarlet hypercars, pictured in the gallery below.) Did Ferrari block Montezemolo from becoming F1 chairman?

The Formula One Group has appointed a series of new directors to its board. But while ousted Ferrari chief Luca di Montezemolo is among them, the latest reports suggest that he was earmarked to become the group's chairman, but that Sergio Marchionne blocked the appointment. Montezemolo, for those just joining us, served as chairman of Ferrari since 1991, but was ousted just a couple of months ago by Sergio Marchionne, chief executive of parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles who took his place at the head of the table in Maranello. During his tenure as Ferrari chief, Montezemolo sat as the team's representative on the F1 board (and also as chairman of the Formula One Teams Association), but despite having broken ties with Ferrari, Luca was renominated to the board as an independent member. That seat on the board, however, could have been at the head of the table, according to circulating reports, had Marchionne not expressed certain reservations, if not blocked the nomination outright. Montezemolo's appointment would have meant that both the F1 Group and the FIA would have been headed up by former Ferrari men, although Marchionne was quoted as saying that if it had been his call, he would have prevented Jean Todt from being elected to the presidency of the FIA as well. The chairmanship of the Formula One Group is separate from the role held by Bernie Ecclestone, who will continue to run the sport's day-to-day operations. Ecclestone has also rejoined the board along with Paul Walsh, the former head of distilling giant Diageo who was also tipped as a favorite to chair the F1 board. That role instead will return to Peter Brabeck, the former head of Nestle, who had previously stepped down from the chair of the Formula One Group.
