Ferrari still finalizing LaFerrari hardware? [w/videos]

McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini helped make this year's Geneva Motor Show one of the most exciting in recent memory, but the LaFerrari might be a little further away from production than its McLaren P1 hypercar rival. According to GTSprit.com, it sounds like Ferrari is still trying to hammer out the the car's details to ensure the lucky 499 souls laying down $1.5 million aren't left in the dust by a brightly colored McLaren.
While it's not clear what sort of things Ferrari is still working on, the continued development aspect is somewhat substantiated by the fact that the 949-horsepower hybrid supercar is still running around Italy wearing camouflage - albeit light camo. As proof of this, the site also found a pair of enthusiastic amateur spy videos that get some good rolling shots of the LaFerrari out testing. They also show how well the car can handle a roundabout. Ferrari introduces trick new augmented reality showroom

Augmented reality is darn cool, giving us a new and highly informative way to look at everyday scenes. We've seen a number of automakers play around with it, from Mini's AR goggles to Land Rover's information-intensive windshield. But while those are merely concepts, Ferrari is bringing augmented reality to the showroom. Literally. The company commissioned an app that uses 3D tracking technology to display a seven-step walkaround program that overlays information on one of the company's products. Want to see different wheel designs? How the air flows over the car's body? Or easily transmit your idea of the perfect Ferrari to friends and family? The app can do it all. It's a seriously impressive piece of technology, and one we could see moving well beyond the Ferrari showroom. Ferrari celebrates Singapore's independence with special F12

Singapore is marking 50 years of independence this year, and Ferrari is celebrating the occasion with a one-off F12 Berlinetta. The SG50 edition was ordered from the Tailor Made program by Ital Auto, the official Ferrari importer for the Southeast Asian metropolis. The model is distinguished by a special red and white livery that mirrors the colors of the Scuderia and the country's flag. The bodywork is done up in a custom shade of metallic red called (appropriately enough) Rosso Singapore. It's offset by Bianco Italia racing stripes, wheels, wing mirrors, and aero appendages, including the front spoiler, side sills, and rear diffuser. The treatment continues inside the two-seat cockpit with a mix of black leather and technical fabrics, offset by red and white accents and a Singaporean lion emblem on the headrests. The words "Singapore 50th Anniversary Edition 1/1" adorn the sill plate and lower rim of the steering wheel. Of course most of us will never see this particular F12 up close. But until Maranello takes the wraps off the anticipated enhancements for the Berlinetta, this gives us an idea of the possibilities available to buyers of the 12-cylinder super-GT. Related Video:
