Ferrari 330 P4 is a stunning red bolide

There are many beautiful cars in the world, and then there is the Ferrari 330 P4 that outdoes practically all of them. Combining more curves than Christina Hendricks and the singing voice of Adele, it might just be one of the most aesthetically pleasing cars ever made. In its latest video, Petrolicious takes a look at the sole remaining original P4 in existence and talks to the lucky man who gets to drive it.
Ferrari Corsa instructor Nick Longhi has the enviable task about getting behind the wheel of the V12 racer in this video, and he says it doesn't drive the way you might think. The P4 isn't out to bite drivers who aren't paying attention. Instead, he claims that the car just does everything right and helps the person at the controls be that much better.
Historically, the P4 was Ferrari's attempt in the 1967 season to take on the dominating Ford GT40. The Prancing Horse's major achievement that year was a 1-2-3 finish in the 24 Hours of Daytona, but it couldn't quite beat the Ford at the famous race at Le Mans.

Ken Block's Gymkhana 8 to feature Dubai Police cars?

Yesterday we showed you the shiny Ford Fiesta that Ken Block will slide, spin, and hoon through the next Gymkhana video. In case the image above isn't clear, that video will drop at midnight EST on February 30th on the Ford Performance YouTube channel. We don't know all the entire premise of the video yet, but this Tweet from the man himself reveals that the video will be set in Dubai. Block is standing on the Fiesta we saw yesterday, and arrayed behind him are a handful of those famous Dubai Police cars you're probably familiar with. From left to right, we can see a Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911, what looks to be a Nissan GT-R obscured by Block's Fiesta, a McLaren (likely a 650S), Ford Mustang, and a Ferrari 599 of some ilk. Ferrari will increase production by 30% to 9,000 cars per year

After years of keeping production purposefully limited to guarantee exclusivity under the reins of Luca di Montezemolo, Ferrari is looking to seriously ramp up its numbers in the near future. A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicates the iconic, Italian supercar maker intends to boost volume by 30 percent to reach around 9,000 vehicles annually by 2019, according to CNBC. Because Ferrari is already doing quite well financially, the extra sales would likely offer a serious boost to profits in the early years after its $10-billion initial public offering. Ferrari's filing also mentions growing demand in emerging markets and a larger "spending capacity" among wealthy buyers as reasons for growing the volume, according to CNBC. However, the company's execs intend to watch how the strategy works and ensure that the brand keeps an air of exclusivity. Sergio Marchionne initially promised to keep annual volume around 7,000 supercars last year. However after taking over as the Prancing Horse's chairman, he reportedly started considering pushing the numbers closer to 10,000. With Marchionne potentially becoming Ferrari CEO as well, the company's future is largely in his hands now. Under Marchioness plan, Ferrari plans to launch a new model each year through 2018. The Prancing Horse is reportedly developing a modular, aluminum space frame to underpin most of its future vehicles. The first to get it might be the next-gen California in 2017. Related Video:
