It has four brand new Pirelli tires and comes with the original Ferrari tool kit and car cover, a combined value of over $6,000. This car is in mint condition, not even a slight ding. It has just over 6.5k miles on it. Racing pedals and gear shift. Absolutely Beautiful!"

This Ferrari has had two non-smoking owners.  My father purchased it from Motorcars International out of Springfield Missouri with roughly 5k miles on it about 20 years ago .  It was shipped to Dallas, not driven.  It currently has just over 6k miles on it.  There are no dings or dents.  The interior is immaculate.  This car was driven occasionally with great care until about five years ago when my father had to have his knees replaced.  Because of the low proximity of the car, it was no longer a fun or feasible car to tool around in every once in a while, it was too painful to get in and out.  While my father was using the car, it was serviced by Ferrari of Plano.  Even with the low mileage I know the timing belt has been changed and brand new Pirelli tires put on it as well as all other maintenance required to keep it Ferrari Certified before it was laid to rest in his garage.  He now finds himself with a brand new looking Ferrari with exceptionally low mileage that he can not enjoy and is now moving and will not have a place to store this car.  This car is located in North Dallas, Texas and he would love to sell it to someone who can truly enjoy the power and handling of one of the most daily user friendly Ferrari's ever made.  The buy it now price is $45,000.  The auction period is not of the desired length of time that would allow more people to see it because I couldn't fit it in my garage either and the move rapidly approaches.  So if you ever wanted a classic Ferrari in this condition for this price please bid or buy now because I'm not sure that the Dallas Can Academy could enjoy it as much as an enthusiast.

The pre-race and first in-race report from Le Mans

Sat, 22 Jun 2013

The 2013, 90th anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has begun, tragedy marking the opening laps with the death of Allan Simonsen. We're at the track now as a guest of Audi and plan to stay through the evening, and even we haven't been able to find out what caused the accident - the only video is from just after the incident, and beyond the statement from ACO there's been no more news. The Aston Martin in the LM GTE Am class and its all-Danish drivers had taken pole in its class and was one of the favorites to win.
The pre-race report will come first, and even thought we can't spoil the race because we're only five hours into it at the time of writing, we'll put all of the news at the end in case you don't even want the updates.
Or you can go straight to the high-res galleries above.

Indian kids joyride in Ferrari F430

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Cars and kids. A lot more people out there have both when they should probably have neither, and this is apparent with this latest video coming out of India. While we can't say for sure who these kids and this car beautiful Ferrari F430 belong to, it's at least the worst display of adult supervision we've seen since last month when two Russian parents let their 8-year-old daughter drive an Audi on snow- and ice-slicked roads.
A young boy who can barely reach the pedals drives up and down the public road with an equally young passenger drive the Ferrari while two adults (Dad of the Year behind the camera?) record the whole event. It seems almost silly to point out, but neither of the juveniles appear to have their seat belts on, as well. As bad as this person's decision making skills are to let a kid drive a car under these conditions, though, his video recording abilities are even worse. Scroll down to check out the video for yourself.

Ferrari 250 GTO heading to The Quail with no reserve

Fri, 04 Jul 2014

It's not every day that a Ferrari 250 GTO changes hands. It is, after all, one of the most highly coveted cars ever made, and there were only 39 of them built in the first place. So when one goes up for sale, it tends to fetch millions. Tens of millions, actually, and the prices keep escalating.
Throughout most of the 1980s they were trading hands for six figures. In 1989 one sold for $10 million. A few months later, $13 million. Prices fluctuated in the 90s, but by 2012, one sold for a whopping $35 million, eclipsed the following year at $52 million. Nobody knows what the next one will sell for, but we're about to find out.
That's because Bonhams has got one consigned for its upcoming auction at the Quail Lodge during Monterey weekend next month. And it's offering it without reserve, meaning that it could sell for the opening bid (however unlikely), it could break the previous record or it could land anywhere in between or beyond.
