For sale is my F355.Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cars Ferrari ever designed, this car is fast, fun, reliable and a pleasure to own!
I know carfax shows a minor accident... It was a dinged fender and cracked bumper cover both replaced with OEM parts you cannot tell and never effected driving or performance.
Maint up to date doesnt need belt service for aprox 24,000 miles. New clutch less than 1000 miles ago. This is the 355 to buy if you want to drive your Ferrari. I have addressed the normal problems known to owning a 355. Valve guides are good no puffing of smoke or worry about having them done. Dash replaced looks beautiful. The 355 dash has a tendency to shrink no worries here.
This car is well sorted and needs nothing. I am only selling because I have a new step daughter and need a seat for her .
Low mileage ferraris have a tendency to develop problems because they are not driven enough to keep seals oiled and parts from sitting in one spot. Also somethings dont get addressed like valve guides because they haven't showed up yet.
Look at the pics they speak for themselves. Garaged, paint maintained by professional detail garage, newer tires, 6 speed shifts smooth (dont buy a F1 they can be a nightmare, not always but if it does you will need deep pockets). No sticky parts!
It attracts more attention than you want. A better sounding Ferrari has never been built and this cars look is timeless.
The interior shows a little wear but not as much as you would expect. The shift knob has some scratches and before I bought it someone had added a switch for their amp to the center console. I ordered a new center console panel  today. Nothing wrong with old one just want it as perfect as possible. The cd player works but I never turn it on the sound of the car is pure music.
The drivers side floor mat has some stitching coming undone on the edge by accelerator pedal you can see this in the pictures..is this nit picking? Yes but thats me.
I am a Ferrari enthusiast and this is a great F355 has been my pride and joy. I could jump in it now and drive to California. Oil was changed and air filters replaced less than 150 miles ago. Paint was recently polished and waxed. I'm not a good photographer so the pics dont do this car justice. I was more interested in the details that would that you would want to see.
I have a $2000 dollar credit with the leading supplier of new and used Ferrari parts in the U.S. So if you want to change or need something it comes with car.
Something you should know Ferrari is a different class of car. You can park it next to a $140,000 Porsche 911 and they walk by it to ask if they can get a pic with your Ferrari. Some colors dont sell as well as others. They dont pop and say Ferrari like red and tan does. A cheap Ferrari is the most expensive one. Buy one and you will find out why the hard way. Low mileage doesnt mean a better Ferrari. Its worth more and might win a show but like any car if its not driven it causes problems . No warranty expressed or implied. Money order or cashiers check must clear bank before car is shipped or picked up. I will not pay for shipping but will assist on my end. If you want fly here and drive it home....you'll love it. Call 989 488-7277 if you have questions
DONT EMAIL ME WITH ANY RIDICULOUS LOW BALL OFFERS. If it doesnt sell I will keep it. I am very active in the Ferrari community so I know well what it takes to get one of these cars sorted and this one is at that point where its all driving enjoyment with no worries...Thank you for looking and good luck in bidding.

Skip Barber's favorite car is a Ferrari 275 GTB

Fri, Dec 25 2015

"My name is Skip Barber," says the voice at the end of this Petrolicious video, "and I'm fortunate to drive a variety of cars. My favorite car is a Ferrari 275 GTB." If you've ever heard that name before, you'll know it carries a lot of weight, and if you've ever seen a 275 GTB up close – or driven one – you know what he's talking about. Barber is a multiple Sports Car Club of America national champion and one of only a handful of American drivers to have competed in Formula One. But he's arguably better known as the founder of his namesake racing and driving schools, which operate at dozens of locations across the country. He's usually linked most prominently to the iconic Lime Rock race course. Barber rescued the Connecticut circuit when its previous owners pulled out, putting the investment together with some alumni from his school. These days Skip is the sole remaining proprietor, but as you can see from the way he talks about it, he's justifiably proud with what he's done with the place. It's one of the few automotive race tracks in the country recognized on the US National Register of Historic Places, and still hosts top-level racing – including the United SportsCar Championship that will return for the Northeast Grand Prix this summer. Between the racing career he's had, the schools he's started, and the track he's preserved, it's safe to say that Barber has left an indelible impact on the motor racing scene in America. And at 79 years old, he's showing no signs of slowing down. Related Video:

Ferrari reports fewer sales, more profit to prove strategy is working

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Ferrari's angle of emphasizing exclusivity by limiting deliveries is appearing to bear fruit. The company posted a 7.1-percent increase in revenues to 1.7 billion Euros ($2.2 billion at today's exchange rates) during the first half of 2013. Net profits, meanwhile, saw a jump of 20 percent to 116.2 million Euros ($153.5 million). The Prancing Horse delivered 3,767 cars, which, while an increase of 2.8 percent, represents a rate of growth that's slower than in the first quarter of 2013.
While Ferrari may be actively trying to slow its sales down to below 7,000 in 2013, it's seen increased numbers in the US, Great Britain and Germany, along with double-digit growth in the Middle East and Japan (39 percent and 28 percent, respectively).
The move to limit sales should have a greater impact on the numbers that come in later this year, which we told you about back in May. Ferrari's controversial move has already seen a drop in sales to China, which saw 50 fewer Prancing Horses than this time last year.

$80M Ferrari deal would make Vettel world's highest-paid sportsman

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

Formula One is in for a big shakeup next season, as the only two multiple World Champions on the grid are kicking off a game of musical chairs. Just who will end up where has yet to be figured out, but the overwhelmingly prevailing wisdom has Sebastian Vettel, who has already announced his departure from Red Bull, inking a contract with Ferrari worth 150 million pounds sterling for three years - that works out to over $80 million per year.
If the reports are true, that would make Vettel (pictured above with his assumed new teammate Kimi Raikkonen) the highest-salaried sportsman in the world. Compared to Vettel's rumored $80 million/year, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo was paid $52 million last year and NFL quarterback Matt Ryan got $42 million, just ahead of soccer player Lionel Messi at $41.7 million. Boxer Floyd Mayweather was reportedly paid a whopping $100 million last year, but that's based on how many fights he fights and wins, putting him on a different earnings spectrum.
Those figures are also just for salaries, and do not include sponsorship and endorsement deals - and therein may lie part of the reason for Vettel's reportedly stratospheric salary. In addition to his salary from the Red Bull team with which he's won four World Championships, Vettel also pulls in a large retainer from Infiniti, which sponsors both the team and himself personally. In departing Red Bull, he'd undoubtedly have to sever the tie with Infiniti as well.
