1998 FERRARI F355 SPIDER, showroom condition in a very rare and desirable color combination of Titanium metallic over dark red interior with a black top and contrasting red Ferrari-Brembo brake calipers. The optional titanium paint was only offered on later model 355 Ferrari F355 (e.g., not available 1995-1996) and this is one of only 10 F355’s make with the color combination of Grigio Titanio and red leather.

Lots of upgrades including $10,000 spent on upgraded 3-PIECE custom HRE wheels with substantially wider front and rear tires, a sweet sounding Capristo exhaust, Momo steering wheel (original wheel included),  MACarbon carbon fibre door sills  as well as upgraded OEM Ferrari disks and brakes.

The major service engine-out service was completed in March 2012 at 21,400 miles,

The car comes with the original manuals, toolkit as well as the original Ferraro car and wheel cover

This is a stunning looking car that runs well. A great investment as the F355 is now at the bottom of its depreciation curve and, if you have been watching the market, they're now appreciating.

According to most all polls, the majority of Ferrari owners feel the F355 is the best looking of all the modern V8 Ferraris (360-430), at least until the $300,000 458.

Also important is the fact that this is a six speed. Ferrari is not making them anymore and you don’t have to worry about a $14K hydraulic pump failing. There is NO comparison, the F1 in a 355 is not good.

Ferrari manufactured more than 13,000 360 Modenas while they produced just 2,664 F355 Spiders for the entire world. That’s it. A total of just 2,664 Spiders. This rarity combined with its stellar reviews and that Formula 1 race car sound, assures the F355 of collector car status. It’s not all that long ago Dinos were $30k. Now they’re five to seven times that sum. Legendary racer Phil Hill said the F355 is one of the top ten Ferraris of all time.

Dolphins Lineman Richie Incognito Takes Baseball Bat To Own Ferrari

Fri, Feb 28 2014

Concerned neighbors called police to the home of Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito Wednesday after seeing a baseball bat laying next to his battered new black Ferrari FF. They feared the football player had been the victim of a vandal, when actually it was Incognito himself who trashed his own car. CBS Miami reported Incognito took the bat to his car in a fit of rage. There were red shirts hanging from the car with Incognito's name written on them, according to TMZ. Fox 10 reached out to Incognito for an explanation as to why he would batter his own luxury sports car. "Oh that was that was just me venting, that was self expression, that's a piece of art," Incognito told Fox 10. "The happiest day of my life was when I got that car and now the second happiest day will be when I donate it to charity." Incognito has struggled with anger management issues in the past. He wrecked his car just weeks after an NFL investigation found him and two other offensive linemen had engaged in harassing fellow teammates. In 2009 he was named the NFL's 'dirtiest player.' Incognito was suspended from play in November, but had the suspension lifted earlier this month. Related Gallery Consumer Reports 2014 Top Picks View 11 Photos Weird Car News Ferrari

Ferrari 212 Barchetta highlights RM auction at Villa d'Este

Tue, May 26 2015

While show-goers sip champagne and basque in the glow of some of the most beautiful classics and most notable concept cars at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, at the Villa Erba just down the shore, collectors bid on some of the most tempting automotive creations. And this year was no exception. Highlighting RM Sotheby's auction this year was a rare classic 1952 Ferrari 212 Export Barchetta. The Touring-bodied competition roadster from Ferrari's early days fetched an incredible ˆ6,720,000 – nearly $7.4 million at current exchange rates – to set a new record for that model. According to Sports Car Market, the previous record was held by a 212 Export coupe that sold for $3.2 million early last year. A Barchetta failed to sell for a high bid of $1.97 million in 2008, which just goes to show how far this auction raised the bar for the 212. Though it was by far the top lot of the day, it wasn't the only million-dollar sale of the day. Heck, it wasn't even the only million-dollar Ferrari sold. A quartet of Ferrari supercars – including a 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo – each fetched seven figures, as did a 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso and a 250 GT Cabriolet. So did a Lamborghini Miura, a '73 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and a '53 Fiat 8V Cabriolet, if you can believe it. Other notable lots included a 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Villa d'Este Coupe, a '74 Lancia Stratos and a rare stick-shift Ferrari 599 HGTE. All told, RM Sotheby's racked up nearly $30 million in sales at its first European auction since merging and rebranding, selling 34 out of the 39 lots consigned, but that stunning 250 California Spider did not appear to be among them.

Ferrari California T has a turbo V8 lurking under new nose [w/video]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The Ferrari California might technically be the Prancing Horse's entry-level model, but there is nothing basic about the latest upgrade for the California T. Showing its face to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, it is now propelled by a 3.9-liter, turbocharged V8 with 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque, which equates to an extra 70 hp and a 49 percent increase in torque over the previous engine.
The forced induction mill is enough to accelerate it to 62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. Also not that many Ferrari buyers are going to care, but the switch also means a 15 percent improvement in fuel economy. Oh, and based on the video preview below, it sounds pretty good, too.
While the new engine is certainly the headline grabber, there are other upgrades as well: a top that closes in 14 seconds, new steering box, improved magnetic dampers and an upgraded traction control system. Pininfarina also reshaped the nose to make it more look like Ferraris of the 1960s. This is seems to be the best looking and performing California yet.
