I purchased this beautiful 355 from the original owner in Florida back on 12/24/2000.  I am the documented second owner and have owned this car for 14 years.  It has always been a Florida since new until I brought to my summer home here in Maine back in 2008.  It comes with a clear Florida title.  It has always been registered and titled in the state of Florida.  It was sold new by The Ferrari Collection in Coral Gables Florida on 10/22/97.

Finished in the best and "only" color combination for a Ferrari, Rossa Corsa Red w/Tan Leather interior.  The paint shines like the day it left the factory and it has never been in any accidents.  I have the perfect Auto Check Report that I will gladly share with any serious bidders.  The tan leather interior is also pristine only showing some very light wear on the driver's seat bolster.  This car always been garaged so there are none of the dreaded "Ferrari stickies".  This has always been a NON SMOKER'S car and there has never been any children or pets in this car.

Always professionally maintained and serviced by the best Ferrari specialists and serviced at all of the recommended service intervals. I had the major cam belt serviced done on 2/12/08 with 13,264 miles.  In addition, there was a new water pump and clutch kit including throw out bearing done at this time.  All of the parts were purchased through Shelton Ferrari.  The valve guides were not replaced because there was and still is no issue. There was also a new maintenance-free battery also installed.

Shortly after I took ownership I had a Tubi Exhaust and factory Challenge grill installed. In addition to all of the scheduled maintenance, recent service items include new front rotors and pads, (4) new Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and an oil & filter change.  This is one of the most reliable maintenance-free cars I have ever owned!

Included with the car is all of the original owner's manuals with leather folders, tool kit, car cover, tire inflation kit, Ferrari battery maintainer, window sticker, original sales brochures, and three keys w/remotes.

I will be glad to answer any additional questions and will be happy to assist with making shipping arrangements.  I did get a quote from Exotic Car Transport from Maine to Florida for $1495 as an example.  I will also pick you up at the Portland Maine Airport and you can enjoy a drive back home!  This is a magnificent 355 that has been well cared for it's entire life.  I have taken great pride in ownership and have thoroughly enjoyed every mile in this car.

Ferrari releases teaser video for 458 Speciale

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

As is the specs weren't enough, Ferrari is helping us get ready for the reveal of the 458 Speciale at the Frankfurt Motor Show with a short teaser video. You won't get much in the way of a full-body modeling session, naturally, but there are plenty of close-ups of its intakes, scoops, vanes, seriously racy bucket seats and lots and lots of carbon fiber.
And showing how omnipresent on-camera surveillance can sometimes be a good thing, the harder 458 has already been caught being tinkered with in digital photos taken at Maranello. For the moving pictures, however, there's that video below.

Marchionne holds Maranello talks amid Ferrari's struggles

Fri, Jul 15 2016

Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne has been in Maranello this week holding key meetings with staff to work out what needs to be done to rescue its season. With the Formula 1 campaign approaching its halfway point, Ferrari is still without the victory that it has been targeting since the first race in Australia. And worse than that, it appears to have fallen behind in the development stakes against Mercedes and Red Bull – leaving it now facing a challenge to finish second in the constructors' standings. On the back of a deeply disappointing British Grand Prix, where the team struggled for pace all weekend, Marchionne has elected to spend the last few days in Maranello to try to get to the bottom of what has gone wrong. For although its early season progress was impacted by the tragedy surrounding technical director James Allison, whose wife died just after the Australian Grand Prix, progress more recently has not been good enough. While Mercedes has been pushing on with upgrades at each race to keep improving its speed, Ferrari is still struggling to understand why its car has such a sensitive set-up that allows it to be competitive only in a very narrow performance window. Rather than sitting back and simply hoping for answers, Marchionne has taken it upon himself to push things forward. Motorsport.com has learned that he has held a series of key meetings at Maranello with the chassis and aerodynamic departments – with a particular focus on speaking to those who report to department heads as well as their juniors. Marchionne is determined to find out whether or not there is a belief from the shop floor that more potential can be extracted from the SF16-H, and if the true state of progress of the car is as he has been led to believe by senior management. It is possible that Marchionne could take action after these meetings to tidy up internal structures – moving around those staff who he believes have not been exploited to their best, and moving aside those whom he believes have been holding things back. It could be this action plan that team principal Maurizio Arrivabene was referring to after Silverstone, when he said that the situation at Maranello was now getting more serious – and that the potential for big change was coming if things did not improve. "After Hungary we cannot fool around any more," said Arrivabene.

Who are Mike Manley, Louis Camilleri, and Suzanne Heywood?

Sun, Jul 22 2018

MILAN – Fiat Chrysler aid on Saturday that boss Sergio Marchionne, 66, would not be returning to work because he was gravely ill. In addition to being FCA chief executive, Marchionne was also CEO and chairman of luxury sports car brand Ferrari and chairman of truck and tractor maker CNH Industrial, which were spun off from FCA in recent years. Following is a brief summary on the executives who have been appointed to replace him in the various roles: MIKE MANLEY The 54-year-old Briton picked to become the FCA's new CEO has been leading the group's top brand Jeep since 2009, first as Jeep President and CEO at Chrysler and then as FCA's Jeep head. In 2015 he was also appointed head of the Ram brand. Under his tenure, Jeep turned into a global brand becoming, together with Ram, FCA's profit engine. Jeep sold nearly 1.4 million cars last year compared with less than 338,000 in 2009. Manley had worked as DaimlerChrysler's head of network development in Britain since 2000, having earlier worked for several years in car dealership. At Chrysler, he headed product planning and all sales activities outside of North America and then became the group's chief operating officer for Asia and the lead executive for the international activities outside of NAFTA. LOUIS CAMILLERI The new Ferrari CEO was already a board member at the luxury sportscar maker before his latest appointment. He is also the chairman of Philip Morris International, where he also held the job of CEO from 2008 to 2013. Born in 1955, Camilleri had joined Altria Group, which controls Philip Morris, in 1978 holding various positions until he became chief financial officer in 1996 and then CEO in 2002. Camilleri was also chairman of Kraft Foods from 2002 to 2007. Malta's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat wished Camilleri luck on Twitter saying he was proud to have "a bit of Malta in Ferrari" thanks to the new CEO, who was born in Egypt to Maltese parents. SUZANNE HEYWOOD The new, British-born chairwoman of CNH Industrial has been since 2016 the managing director of EXOR, the holding company through which the Agnelli family controls FCA. Heywood, 49, started her career at the British Treasury and then joined McKinsey in 1997, leading for many years the consultancy firm's global service line on organization design. She eventually became a senior partner there. Heywood sits on the board of The Economist, which is controlled by EXOR, and the board of the Royal Opera House, where she is also deputy chair.
