Description: "F355's do not come much more rare or desirable than this 6-speed manual GTS" a quote from a 1999 GTS currently offered on Hemmings for $79,995.00

This car also features the optional painted targa roof panel. The sale will include all of the owners books, car cover, tools (missing a screw driver I think) and records.
I bought this 355 GTS from a Ferrari dealer over 10 years ago.  It's in super nice condition but I recently moved from my house in La Costa to a townhouse in Encinitas with only space for one car in the garage and I live in Key West more than 6 months of the year.. the San Diego Ferrari Dealer, service manager, said its the nicest 355 he has seen. Newly recovered dash and pod, stickys done, Tubi Stainless Exhaust, major service performed just over 300 miles ago in May 2011, built in K40 laser radar detector, Blaupunkt stereo cd. Clean Car Fax. The tires are in great condition and note even the inside of the rims are clean.

I did a quick search on the web and only found a few other GTS's for sale, with double the miles priced around 66k. The nearest comparison with 17,408 miles is asking 77k.  Don't miss your chance to own one with very low miles for less.  Once the add was posted I noticed the car report calculated 5 owners when I am the third.  I guess the system sees a different address on the registration as a likely new owner.

Fernando Alonso gives German TV interview driving Ferrari F12 at the Nordschleife

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

Fernando Alonso gave a wide-ranging interview to German television station RTL, the Spanish driver and German interviewer conducting the session in Italian, driving a special Italian car on very special German track. Among many answers - from the industriousness of his native Ovideo, Spain to where he relaxes - Alonso gives Ferrari an eight out of ten for the season, admitting they don't have the fastest car but they have a complete car, and refuses to give himself a number, only saying that he is more complete as well than when he first entered.
Beyond the normal-guy persona and wealth of topics, the 10-minute interview is neat for being able to watch Alonso hurl the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta over and around kerbs while he's answering questions. You can check it all out in the video below.

1954 Ferrari 375 MM Scaglietti Coupe named Best In Show at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Sun, 17 Aug 2014

For the first time in the event's 64-year history, the prestigious Best In Show honor at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance has been awarded to a Ferrari. The 1954 375 MM Scaglietti Coupe seen here is owned by car collector Jon Shirley of Medina, WA, and as it turns out, has quite a rich history.
Nevermind the fact that it's currently one of five road-going 375 MMs - this example was ordered by film director Roberto Rossellini, and was actually born as a Pininfarina-bodied competition Spyder. Following an accident, the car's original body wasn't able to be saved, but the chassis was sent to Carrozzeria Scaglietti in Modena for replacement, and the finished product became the company's first passenger car design for Ferrari.
Following its tenure with Rossellini, the car was owned by Mario Savona of Palermo, and later Charles Robert of Paris. Years later, the car was restored by its current owner in 1995, after being found in an underground garage in a Paris suburb.

Ferrari F150 Enzo successor is Geneva bound [UPDATE]

Sun, 10 Feb 2013

Ferrari has announced the automaker will debut the company's "most powerful HyperFerrari [sic]" at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The news came courtesy of Instagram, where the Italian automaker posted a familiar-looking rendering with a quick note. Details are still remarkably scarce, though Ferrari says the successor to the Enzo throne will be able to "turn into a corner" as quick as a Formula One car thanks in part to the fact that the road-going machine will feature as much downforce as an F1 competitor. From what we've heard so far, the Enzo replacement will boast over 800 horsepower from the combination of a V12 engine and a HY-KERS system.
We've already heard some interesting tidbits about the new machine, including the fact that each model will come with a driver's seat tailor made for the buyer. Ferrari says we can also expect to see a quicker 0-120 mph sprint than the old Enzo with 40 percent fewer emissions. Stay tuned for live photos from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
UPDATE: After some looking into it, Ferrari does not appear to have an official Instagram account, or at least doesn't list one alongside its other official social accounts. We're of the mind now that what appeared on this Instragram is not officially from the Horse's mouth.
