This is a 1997 Ferrari 355 GTB with a manual 6 speed. It is a great car with all of the common 355 issues fully addressed and ready to go. It has a full Tubi exhaust system including headers and high flow cats. No "Slow down" light issues or other drive-ability problems. It has no sticky interior parts or dash shrinkage. It does have a small amount of shrinkage in the rear corner trim pieces, but not bad.
The car has complete service records and had its major engine-out cambelt service completed just last year and an annual service done last fall. It is all set to enjoy for many years.
The car has some tasteful carbon trim pieces like the gauge surround and door corner trim as well as a Hill Engineering dead pedal and shift knob.
The car has one minor body repair in its history where the headlight door, left fender and hood were replaced. There was no serious inner structure damage and the car was driven home from the incident. It has since been properly repaired and won a first place trophy in a Ferrari Club car show very recently.
You may have noticed that the car is not red, black or yellow. It is in fact a very rare Hyperion Azzurro (silvery blue) The combination of the colors is truly stunning and I receive more comments on how beautiful this car is than my other black, yellow and red sportscars. If you are not set on red, this is a fantastic choice. It is much more impressive in person than it is in the photos.
I belive considering the service and condition of this car that my Buy it now price is market correct. However I am open to cash offers and I might consider certain trades for Porsches, Ferrari's or other interesting and appreciating sports cars.

Video proof that LaFerrari has a pure electric mode
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Typically, a hybrid car, with its gas engine and an electric motor/battery pack is able to run on both forms of propulsion independently of each other. That means you can sip gas, run on pure electricity or some variation there of. The Ferrari LaFerrari is not like other hybrids.
See, the successor to the Enzo has batteries, an electric motor and a great, thumping V12 engine, but unlike its rivals from McLaren and Porsche, it has no standalone electric mode. That's been Ferrari's party line since day one. But have the Italians been exaggerating a bit? Judging by this video, it seems like a real possibility.
The video comes from what we're guessing is a European track day. It shows a black LaFerrari stealthily sailing through a tunnel on pure electric power, which it shouldn't be able to do, before its 789-horsepower V12 fires to life.
Take a video tour of the Ferrari F12 TdF's V12 engine
Fri, Oct 16 2015Ferrari's transformation of the F12 Berlinetta from a handsome GT into a road-devouring monster – the F12 TdF – seems impressive. To make sure the engine has a wail to match the threatening exterior, the Italians massaged the 6.3-liter V12 up to 769 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque. It now redlines at a screaming 8,900 rpm, and propels the coupe to 62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds. This new video takes viewers inside the upgraded mill to illustrate how these improvements were made. Among the host of changes, the intake receives variable-geometry intake trumpets. Even in his computer-animated video, they're amazing to watch in action. Ferrari has some other tricks too, though. Let the company show you the benefits of all the tweaks in this clip.
Race Recap: 2015 Canadian F1 Grand Prix is better behind the front
Mon, Jun 8 2015As of Saturday afternoon in Montreal, Canada, it was all about the number four. Lewis Hamilton put his Mercedes-AMG Petronas on pole position for the fourth time at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and now his tally of pole positions matches his race number: 44. Nico Rosberg lines up beside him, which is the fourth time that particular one-two combo has occurred this season. Ferrari spent three engine development tokens to try and close the gap to Mercedes, Kimi Raikkonen making the most of it with third position on the gird. His teammate Sebastian Vettel got the worst of it, however, when the MGU-K unit failed during Q1, leaving him 160 horsepower down and out at the first hurdle. Valtteri Bottas put a revitalized Williams on the grid at fourth, ahead of a Lotus lockout of the third row with Romain Grosjean leading the way in fifth, Pastor Maldonado just beside. Nico Hulkenberg got the first Sahara Force India into seventh – the team is still waiting on the upgraded B car that should be available for Austria – ahead of Daniil Kvyat in the first Infiniti Red Bull Racing and a "pissed off" Daniel Ricciardo in the second Red Bull. Sergio Perez made it two Force Indias in the top ten, a welcome result from a team performing below expectations of late. When the lights went out, at the very front it was much ado about not that much at all. Hamilton got away clean and stabbed across the track to close the door for Rosberg, giving Raikkonen a chance to take the inside line into Turn 1 in an attempt to clear Rosberg for second place. That didn't happen, leaving the two Mercedes' to run in grid position for the entire race. It wasn't boring – Rosberg stayed close, rubber-banding the time gap to the leader from a little more than one second to just under four seconds, and Montreal is famous for race-rearranging safety cars and on-track incidents. But none of those occurred, so Hamilton crossed the line 2.285 seconds ahead of Rosberg after 70 laps to earn his fourth victory in Canada and the first-ever victory for the Brackley, UK-based Mercedes team. Valtteri Bottas drove his Williams to third position, the first podium place for the team this year and a welcome salve to heal the team's wounds from a poor showing in Monaco. That placing came courtesy of being in the right place at the right time, which was not far behind Raikkonen when the Ferrari driver spun at the hairpin on Lap 28 after his first pit stop.
