This particular example is a well-maintained and thoroughly documented example complete with service records back to 1995 and book set. Finished in a wonderfully elegant color combination of grey with dark blue interior, this car was sold new on 31 May 1995 in San Antonio, Texas. Its original window sticker price was $121,900. The car remained in Texas until 2004, at which point it was relocated to California, where it has remained since. It has been regularly serviced with the following work performed since 2011: new starter, new clutch, rebuilt climate control unit, timing belt replacement (May 2013), and routine servicing. The car is in very good largely original cosmetic condition. The paint is in very good condition, with excellent luster and few blemishes. A few small chips have been touched up, and the front bumper has light road rash and a small crack at the bottom of the valence. The front deck lid has almost no marks on it, and the lights are in excellent shape. The wheels and in very good shape, with no significant curb rash and just a few minor marks. The glass and lights are excellent as is the top, which looks virtually unused. The interior is in good condition. The leather is intact and nice overall, though there is some wear on the driver’s seat bolster and some creasing on the seats. The instruments are in very good condition and the dashboard is in good condition, although the leather on the instrument binnacle is shrinking slightly. The switches and controls are in very good to excellent shape, though some of the black interior components such as the ashtray lid have become tacky, a common issue with Ferraris of this period. The car was fitted with an expensive aftermarket stereo system as well. The engine compartment and front compartment are both in original and very clean condition, in keeping with a properly maintained, low-mileage car. The front compartment is surprisingly large and in essentially as new condition. |

Ferrari begins releasing official teasers for new supercar
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Regardless of what it will be called, the successor to the Ferrari Enzo will be unveiled next week in Geneva, and like many other automakers, Ferrari will apparently be giving us a slow strip tease of the all-new hybrid supercar.
We've already seen a couple shadowy images of the car's face and rump, but the new shots - provided courtesy of the Ferrari Facebook page - are starting to show us some detail.
The only problem is that we don't exactly know what details we're looking at. In the shot above, that curvy, red real estate could belong to any number of body panels, while the second new teaser shows the Ferrari prancing horse logo with no indication of where on the car it'jk, s located.

Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa reportedly stepping down [UPDATE]
Thu, Jul 16 2015Update: In a statement to Autoblog, Ferrari USA predictably responded: "We do not comment on rumors. There is no announcement at this time." Rumors are currently swirling in the European media that Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa (pictured above) is stepping down from his position at the Prancing Horse. An exact timeframe isn't clear at this time. Motori Online from Italy indicates Felisa might not leave the company until September, whereas Autocar reports that he has already resigned from the Italian automaker. Autoblog has reached out to Ferrari for clarification, but the Maranello-based firm has not yet officially confirmed any of this speculation. Felisa has been the company's CEO since 2008 when Jean Todt stepped down. He joined Ferrari in 1990 as the director of product development and became general manager there in 2006. Felisa was also among people thought possible to take the role as chairman when Luca di Montezemolo left the Prancing Horse last year. Sergio Marchionne retained that role. If these rumors prove true, Felisa's departure would be the biggest corporate shakeup at Maranello since di Montezemolo's departure. The move would also come at a time that's not particularly pleasant for Ferrari or its corporate parent. Marchionne recently indicated that the Prancing Horse was just days away from filing the prospectus for its imminent initial public offering. The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles executive had previously put Ferrari's value at around $11 billion. So far, all we have are rumors and reports, but as soon as we know more, so will you. Stay tuned.
