Up for sale is a stunning example of the Fox Body Mustang convertible. This specific car does not need a single thing. Has never seen a snowflake and completely rust free.
Very low 71K miles, which are original. The odometer has not rolled over!
I can't say enough good things about this car. It's an absolute joy to drive and is completely solid. The doors thump when you close them, the top doesn't rattle and roll. This Mustang has not been in any known accidents. Perfectly straight body and frame.

The good stuff:
-Everything is dead stock. There is not one performance modification on this car. Just a couple exterior upgrades (lights and wheels).
-Engine runs smooth and cool. Runs outstanding.
-Transmission was just rebuilt this year and shifts and drives flawlessly
-Wheels and tires are BRAND NEW.
-Mustang Cobra R deep dish wheels. Fronts 17X8 and rears 17X9.
-Tires are very very nice Continental Extreme Contact DWS. Fronts: 235/45ZR17  Rears: 255/45ZR17
-Winning buyer also get the stock set of 15" turbine wheels with good tires as well.
-Convertible top is brand new.
-Interior is extremely clean. Seats have been covered since new with a lambs wool cover. Not a stain anywhere.
-Air Conditioning is VERY cold. Was converted to R-134.

There is nothing wrong with the car. What you see is what you get, there's NO hidden secrets. It's a joy to drive and we hate to see it go.
I would not hesitate for one minute to get in this car and drive it anywhere in the country.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee teases return with a Countach

Fri, May 29 2015

Unless you have an intense aversion to Jerry Seinfeld, it's hard not to find something to like about his show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. After all, the series combines funny people telling often hilarious stories while riding in ridiculously cool vehicles. The trailer for the sixth season is now online, and based on this tease, this definitely looks worth watching no matter what part of the videos interest you. Of course, it's the automotive portion that really grabs us, and Seinfeld has quite a fleet to showcase for season six. The trailer shows off a Lamborghini Countach, a '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, a classic Volkswagen Beetle in the green and white German Polizei livery, a Morgan, an Aston Martin DB5, and a Ferrari 308. On the more humorous side of things, the guest list at least includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and upcoming host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah. Season six of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee premieres on Crackle on Wednesday, June 3, at 11:30 PM ET.

Ferrari IPO could come any day now

Sun, Jul 12 2015

According to Bloomberg, Fiat Chrysler Automotive Sergio Marchionne told reporters at the Toronto Global Forum that the Ferrari IPO could come any day now. "We are days away from filing the prospectus," said Marchionne, who declined to confirm whether rumors of involvement from UBS Group AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co and Goldman Sachs Group were accurate. In addition to an expected filing in New York, Marchionne hinted that a secondary filing could take place in Milan, Italy. Although the FCA Chief Executive didn't offer any expected sum for Ferrari, he had previously suggested that an IPO for the iconic Italian brand could be worth $1 billion, ringing the registers to the tune of 10 percent of the company's $11 billion valuation. According to Bloomberg, that potential sum is significantly higher than its own internal figures indicate after taking a poll of analysts who we assume must know a heck of a lot more about such things than we do. Considering how close we apparently are to the actual filing, though, we probably won't have to wait long to find out. Another hot topic any time Sergio is the subject of reporter questioning is a potential merger with General Motors or another large, full-line automaker. It seems there aren't any new revelations to reveal on the consolidation front, though Marchionne told reporters there were no plans to mount a hostile takeover of GM or any "other, less optimal" partners. This is what it's like to drive Magnum PI's Ferrari 308

Sat, 26 Oct 2013

In the pantheon of 80s pop culture, few cars have such provenance as the Ferrari 308. Sure, vehicular icons like the DeLorean and Pontiac Trans Am (especially in time machine and KITT guise) made us swoon back in the day, but there's something about the bright red Italian that makes it stand out; perhaps it is the 308's performance credibility, at least when compared to other memorable cars of its ilk.
Our fondness for Magnum PI's Ferrari 308 is shared by Oscar Verdugo, who's featured in the video you'll see below. Brought to you by theAFICIONAUTO, this video highlights the bond between the men and women who own and love such so-called star cars, and it focuses on one particular 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSI.
