mirror; a new air intake boot and an engine bay detail are being resolved. Estimated final invoice, approximately
$5,000.00 which is included in the sale price. Pre-sale inspection and estimate on file.
The Rosso Corsa FER 300/6 paint is very nice and appears to be all original with no signs of spot repairs over the
years and all panels have excellent gaps and fit. There is no evidence of accident repairs to the body, underside
or chassis. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The cream leather on the
seats and door panels is in excellent condition, especially considering that it is now 31 years old! The dash
covering and headliner are in excellent condition, again, especially considering that it is now 31 years old! The
carpets have been protected by throw rugs and are also in excellent condition. The car had excellent drivability
and functioning of all systems and has been extremely well sorted before the current service and will be even
better when finished! It goes straight hands-off with no shimmy and brakes in a straight line. The engine bay is
nicely detailed and the under panels, belly pan and suspension are in good condition. The A/C is being recharged
and will blow cold. 328 GTS s/n 59649 is fitted with the Factory optional 7 x 16 front and 8 x 16 rear wheels with
a new set of 205/50/16 front and 225/50/16 rear Kumo tires.
The 328 succeeded the highly popular 308 for the 1986 model year and offered an increased displacement V-8 plus a
myriad of detail improvements throughout. The mid-engine 328 featured an upgraded 3.2-liter V-8 putting out 270
horsepower, thanks to a sophisticated Marelli electronic ignition system and the retained Bosch K-Jetronic fuel
injection. The styling was freshened with new seat patterns, new door handles and tidier and more modern treatment
to the front and rear bumpers both of which were painted in body color. The controls were significantly reworked as
well, with new switch gear and revised dashboard and door trims. Production of the 328 ended in the fall of 1989,
marking the end of the transverse mid-engine Ferraris, a line that began with the 246 Dino. As one of the last
Ferraris engineered and launched during Enzo Ferrari’s lifetime and as the last of the pre-computer Ferraris, the
328s are revered for their blend of usability and comparable reliability, as well as the comparative ease of
servicing, thanks to in-car engine service work and cam-belt replacements. Thanks to the 328’s low sweeping body
lines and the sounds of the well-proven, high-revving V-8 right behind your seat, every trip to dinner, Sunday
brunch or your local coffee shop is a great driving experience.
From new in Rosso Corsa FER 300/6 with cream leather, a black dash and black carpets. 328 GTS s/n 59649 now has
60,339 total original miles and will be delivered with a full major cam belt and 30,000 mile service and. All smog
is in place but thanks to today’s draconian smog rules 328 GTS s/n 59649 is probably NOT California legal.

Ferrari California T showcases classic style in Shanghai
Mon, Apr 20 2015Ferrari may not have anything new to showcase this year (or at least nothing we haven't seen before) at the largest auto show in one of its largest markets, but it did roll into Shanghai with a rather stunning take on the California T. This drop-top Prancing Horse has been customized through the company's Tailor Made personalization program, taking its cues from the 1950s and early '60s. The bodywork has been done up in Grigio Ingrid – the same color Roberto Rossellini chose for Ingrid Bergman's 1954 Ferrari 375 MM. The interior, meanwhile, features a rather stunning swath of reddish-brown leather with waxed edges inspired by Jackie Kennedy, offset by black Alcantara, a matte grey metallic dashboard and virgin wool carpeting. The details cast what otherwise might not be Maranello's most beautiful model in a rather gorgeous light, and just goes to show the extent of the customization options available to the company's discerning clientele. Related Video: Tailor Made Elegance At Auto Shanghai a Ferrari California T inspired by two classic style icons Maranello, 20 April 2015 – Today, at Auto Shanghai (April 22-29, 2015)Ferrariunveiled a particularly stunning bespoke California T. This California T was created especially for the Chinese auto show to illustrate how Ferrari's "Tailor Made" program allows a client to commission a car according to his or her wishes. Since the 1950s, the Ferrari California series has embodied elegance, sportiness and versatility. In keeping with this spirit, Ferrari's design team chose to style this California T with timelesssophistication. For inspiration, the designers looked to two great icons of style, the actress Ingrid Bergman, known for her natural beauty and effortless chic, and the Kennedy familyas personified by the graceful Jacqueline Kennedy. Finished indemure "Grigio Ingrid" a color named for the unforgettable Ingrid Bergman who chose this very shade of grey for the Ferrari 375 MM Roberto Rossellini gave her in 1954, this California T has a touch of understatement. The interiors on the other hand are rich in materials and detail, taking their cues from the worlds of interior and furniture design as well as luxury goods. In particular the seats, in reddish brown, velvety"count prestige" leather, are a variation on theKennedee chair by Jean Marie Massaud, a design that in turn was influenced by the style of America's "former first family" the Kennedys.
How this Ferrari 250 GTE became Rome's most famous police car
Mon, 26 Aug 2013We're used to seeing fancy cars gifted to or bought by certain international police forces today, but the story of this 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE goes well beyond a gift. Because Rome's anti-organized-crime unit, Squadra Mobile, was doing a terrific job in the early '60s, the Italian president asked what they wanted as a token of appreciation. The answer, meant as a joke, was "A Ferrari." The president, in all seriousness, got them two.
One was almost immediately destroyed during testing, the other remains in the care of Alberto Capelli today, whose father began attending military and government auctions just after World War II. Petrolicious visited Capelli to hear the 51-year-old tale of the most precious cop car you're going to see for a while, and it involves outlaws, a French gangster in a Citroën, a policeman who was offered a spot on the Ferrari factory team by Enzo himself, and more. It's a fantastic yarn, and you can watch the whole story below.
Buy Ferrari's F1 motorhomes and start your own Scuderia [w/videos]
Mon, Dec 1 2014The single-seat racecars themselves may be the most impressive bits of machinery a Formula One team brings to the circuit, but the vehicles you see on the track are not the end of the story. The trucks in which they're transported and which serve as mobile bases for the team's trackside operations are almost as impressive in their own right, and now a pair of these tractor-trailers are available for sale. Only they're not from just any team – they're from Scuderia Ferrari. This pair of transporters include two scarlet red Iveco Stralis tractors and a pair of matching custom trailers made by AstaCar in Reggio Emilia, just 45 minutes down the autostrada from Maranello. One trailer was made to transport the F1 cars, and the other as a mobile office and repair shop. They can deploy once parked to a height of 23 feet for two floors and cover an area of over 2,000 square feet. The trailers were commissioned by Ferrari back in 2003 during the height of the Michael Schumacher era. They were used by the team as its rolling base of operations and trackside hospitality at grands prix across Europe for ten years, upgraded incrementally along the way until they were replaced halfway through last season. They've even still got the nameplates of former team principal Stefano Domenicali and drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa on the doors. The constructor is putting them up for sale, and while they wouldn't disclose for publication how much they're asking for the pair, commissioning a new setup like this one – complete with tractors, trailers and all the fixins – would set you back a cool ˆ2 million (about $2.5 million at today's rates) plus applicable taxes. Whether they're worth less than that now for their wear or whether the championships and race wins that were orchestrated from these rolling pieces of racing history make them even more valuable is a matter the buyer will need to negotiate with the seller, but you're invited to scope 'em out on the sale page and in the images above, as well as the videos of the manufacturer's work below.
