This GT4 is absolutely gorgeous! One of the nicest I've seen personally. They are appreciating quite quickly and are very hard to find!
This car has just had it's major service++ this month at a tune of over $7500. Including: timing belts/bearings, belts, hoses, valve adjustment, all 4 carbs rebuilt, water pump, thermostat, coolant, all oils and filter, electronic ignition upgrade, distributor recurve, cv boot, fuel pump and filter, plugs extenders, and wires, Ac converted to 134, pan and trans gaskets, shift shaft seals, new paint, new tires, etc. I believe I am the 4th owner and as stated on an old eBay auction the engine and transmission were rebuilt 12,000 miles ago. The GT4's were the first Ferrari with a mid engined 3 liter V8 and punched out 255hp through 4 weber carbs. Also the first Ferrari body designed by Bertone(Lamborghini). Also the successor to the $400,000 Dino 246's. The GT4 is known to be better handling, quicker, and more fun than the GTS/GTB's. The car runs and drives great! Everything works, even the clock and power antenna. Items still needing addressing are: fuel gauge doesn't read correctly and AC blower motor isn't working. The paint shines excellent, no major dings or dents or scratches. I have receipts for the services performed at Ferrari Motor Service in Fountain Hills, AZ. Car is quick and runs and drives great. I've driven it over 100 miles to the lake and back in 100 degree weather with no issues! Garage kept and only a drop or two of oil on floor where it sits over time. Two sets of keys, tools, jack, silk Ferrari car cover and steering wheel cover. I have a freshly resealed and painted set of BBS magnesium 16" wheels for it for an extra charge if interested. Ferrari planning sleeker FF coupe?
Thu, 10 Apr 2014There are a lot of things you could call the Ferrari FF. Innovative, advanced, pioneering, ponderous... beautiful may not be one of them, though. Because while it does pack Ferrari's first all-wheel drive system, it doesn't pack it into a very pretty shape, alternately described as a chopped shooting brake or stretched hatchback. Word has it, though, that Ferrari is working on a solution.
That solution, according to Car and Driver, would be to chop it down into an FF coupe. Apparently separate from the SP FFX project that ultimately emerged as a one-off, this rebody could potentially solve the FF's stylistic shortcomings and attract more buyers, while retaining the 6.3-liter V12 engine that drives 651 prancing horses to all four wheels. But here's where it gets tricky: if Ferrari simply sloped the roofline and got rid of the rear seats, the finished product would end up precariously close to the F12 Berlinetta, albeit with an extra set of driven wheels.
We'd sooner guess that Maranello would lengthen the form slightly to keep the rear seats, add a trunk and give it a more graceful profile, though the elongated form of the preceding 612 Scaglietti strikes us as what Ferrari was trying to get away from with the FF in the first place. And guessing is as good as we've got at this point, as our attempts to get more from Ferrari PR resulted in a sad (if predictable) "no comment."

Tue, 30 Apr 2013Earlier this month, we reported on a video that was circulating the internet which showed a young boy driving a Ferrari F430 on a street in India while other children watched and two adults recorded the whole thing. And that was all that we knew at the time. Now, there is more information about the car, the kids and their parents thanks to an article in the Daily Mail. As it turns out, a wealthy businessman let his son drive the Ferrari as a present for his ninth birthday and recorded the whole thing while his six-year-old son was riding shotgun.
According to the report, the father, Muhammad Nizam, faces charges and possibly the seizure of the car for letting his son get behind the wheel. Oddly enough, the video is still up on YouTube, and we have it posted for you below.

Sat, Jan 10 2015Automotive barn finds are exciting for the thrill and surprise of the hunt. Of course, you're far more likely to find a rusting Chevy under a tarp, but there's always that chance to scoop up a forgotten Porsche or Shelby for a song. That aspect makes the massive Roger Baillon Collection so bittersweet. There were so many great classics sitting under an open shed in France, but they were there so long that many of them became just bare husks. Ahead of the February 6 auction in Paris, auction house Artcurial has released descriptions and images of the entire 59-car hoard. While the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider and 1956 Maserati A6G 2000 Gran Sport Berlinetta Frua remain the stars, there are a few surprises among the bunch. The original announcement makes no mention of several modern Ferraris – at least compared to the rest of the collection – among the lots. They include a thoroughly beat 1982 308 GTSi without headlights and portions of the paint gone. There's also a 1988 Mondial Cabriolet that looks good on the outside, but Artcurial says needs a mechanical overhaul. A rather attractive gray 1978 400 GT is in similar condition.
