My 1982 Ferrari 308 gtsi in great shape
and ready for your driving pleasure. First off lets get the bad out of the way, the sound system is bad, But I
would rather listen to the purr of the motor!! Windows were slow and while cleaning up the car the passenger window
quit half way up. The fuel and water temp gauges work sometimes ?? The A/C is complete but not cooling, clock does
not work. Now that this is out the way the car is a real head turner and a blast to drive!! I have done a ton of up
grades and maintenance in the last 300 miles so here it goes:
Wheels/Tires: Brand new 16" rims and lug bolts from Superformance in the UK and of course new tires. (Huge
improvement in handling and ride) The factory wheels/lugs will go with the car if you want them.
Ignition/Electrical: The factory ignition system was replaced with a new Electromotive system (WOW what a great
improvement)
All the original system will come with the car if you want. All 3 crank sensors were replaced. The fuse blocks were
replaced with upgraded glass fuse block holders (Originals come with the car)
Engine/Transmission: All fluids and filters changed. Replaced cam seal and gaskets, new air inlet boot, valve
cover gaskets, both timing belts and Hill Engineering bearings, all vacuum lines (including the long one from
engine to break booster), replaced pilot bushing in Trans.
Brakes: Flushed and replaced brake fluid, new brake pads all around, new/rebuilt back calipers.
Fuel System: Replaced with new all fuel injectors, fuel pump & accumulator, fuel filters, new/rebuilt fuel
distributer, and all new fuel lines and hoses.
Cooling System: Flushed cooling system and new antifreeze, all new hoses (including the long heater hose)
new/rebuilt water pump, new thermostat.

Ferrari builds one-off hybrid F12 TRS roadster
Mon, 16 Jun 2014When Ferrari makes an open-top version of one of its V12 super-GTs, it typically comes in particularly low production numbers. Maranello only made 448 examples of the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, 559 of the 575 Superamerica and 599 units of the 599 SA Aperta. What we have here, however, is not just the first F12 roadster we've seen yet, but also the most exclusive.
Called the F12 TRS, it's obviously based on the F12 Berlinetta, but with some key modifications. Not the least of which is the open-top body-style (which may or may not have a folding roof mechanism of some kind), coupled with some unique bodywork like a cowled rear deck and reshaped hood. But the TRS (which we can only assume is some tribute to the 250 Testa Rossa) is also said to pack an F1-derived KERS hybrid assist, presumably similar to the one in the LaFerrari - or more poignantly, in the 599 HY-KERS concept - to give the 6.3-liter V12 even more juice than the prodigious 730 horsepower it produces in stock Berlinetta form.
The vehicle, apparently spotted in the garage at the company's Fiorano test track, appears to be a one-off built by Ferrari's Special Projects division for one discerning and evidently very wealthy customer who is said to have paid $4.2 million for the privilege.
Ferrari begins releasing official teasers for new supercar
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Regardless of what it will be called, the successor to the Ferrari Enzo will be unveiled next week in Geneva, and like many other automakers, Ferrari will apparently be giving us a slow strip tease of the all-new hybrid supercar.
We've already seen a couple shadowy images of the car's face and rump, but the new shots - provided courtesy of the Ferrari Facebook page - are starting to show us some detail.
The only problem is that we don't exactly know what details we're looking at. In the shot above, that curvy, red real estate could belong to any number of body panels, while the second new teaser shows the Ferrari prancing horse logo with no indication of where on the car it'jk, s located.
Ferrari F12 Berlinetta auction raises $1.5M for Hurricane Sandy relief
Mon, 19 Nov 2012Ferrari has managed to raise $1.5 million for victims of Hurricane Sandy during an auction in Austin, Texas for the very first F12 Berlinetta in the US. The funds will go to the American Red Cross and be earmarked for Hurricane Sandy relief. Ferrari started bidding on the F12 at $315,888, but the most powerful production model from the company fetched $1.125 million by the time the gavel fell through bids sourced both in person and over the phone. The company also managed to raise a further $345,000 in in-kind donations before the auction began, and donors gave an additional $50,000 during the event itself.
Ferrari debuted the F12 Berlinetta at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the company is set to deliver its first model to a US customer in the second quarter of 2013. The automaker reminds its fans that it is still possible to donate to the Hurricane Sandy relief fund by visiting a special Ferrari section of the American Red Cross page.
