Depending on your state laws you might have to put a Cat back on the car to make it legal. Car also has 3in drag mufflers and might be to loud for some but not me, sounds bad ass with the high lift cam shaft, and higher compression."

UPDATE: Putting my self in the shoes of a potential buyer shipping would be something I would be worried about so I am posting an update on shipping details. I am shipping the car back state side with DGX, one of the best international shipping companies in the world. Original shipping was going to run me about 4k, but I had concerns with it being loaded and unloaded by people and potential  for damage among other things.  I called them back today and worked out a different plan with them thats way more safe but twice as expensive to ensure worry free/safe shipping. The car will be driven by me into its own shipping container, blocked and strapped down. It will be loaded on the ship in the center section, bottom where there is little to no movement, reserved for the most fragile cargo. It then will be offloaded still sealed in its container and trucked to your location where it will be taken out of its container.  The car will never be touched or taken out from point "A" to pint "B".This is the safest most expensive way to ship but will ensure a safe delivery of the car and will be as clean as the day I drive it in. One negative with this shipping method is it will take 4 weeks instead of 3 to deliver the car, well worth the wait in my book. I will not consider shipping any other way to some how save money or lower my asking price. I am paying $7,500 to the west coast and $8,000 to the east coast so I am really only getting 49-50k for a car that I have about 100k invested in. So with that being said; I do not want to wast anyones time watching this car on ebay thinking it will possible sell for less than asking price. $57,500 is my rock bottom with the quality of Viper and shipping methods, so if you want it you just as well "buy it now" so you wont have to wait as long to get it.

Active duty military and I took my car with me to Guam. It rains every day , the max speed limit is 35 mph, Basically it was mistake to have taken the car here, and I refuse to drive it and get caught in the rain. I have been taking it out of the garage and waxing it once a month for 2 years, and I have two years to go on this tour.  Car would be better off back in the states and I could use the money for new family. Have over 30k in professionally installed upgrades and tuning was done by ROE Racing. The car is in excellent shape, super clean and super fast. Car is also supper dependably, you could easily take road trips with this car with not a single issue, drives just like a regular Viper until you hit about 50% throttle.....then hang on! All the performance parts listed have less than 1k miles. The Nitrous kit is a 100 hp shot and was only used during tuning, has not been used after that. The buy it now price includes shipping to your door after full payment is received. I am federal law enforcement, and will have you involved every step of the way when shipping; I will pay and set up shipping, and new owners name will also be on all shipping docs and will have POC with the shipping company. It will be sent from Guam to Long beach by a enclosed car carrier ship, then trucked to your door. Will take about 3 weeks after payment is received;and will be insured. If need be I will supply contact information to verify everything with my Command.

Daily Driver: 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Tue, May 26 2015

Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers who drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, reviewed by Greg Migliore. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: [00:00:00] Hey, everybody. It's Greg Migliore and today I am driving a 707-horsepower Dodge Charger. That can only mean one thing: I'm driving the Hellcat. Naturally, the spotlight feature of this car is the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. Makes 707 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque. [00:00:30] Now naturally the engine sounds great and you can hear all of those horses going out the exhaust in back, which I think the Dodge guys have tuned really well. I think it's got one of the more unique sounds in the industry. All that horsepower will do that, but they've tuned it so there's a low kind of growl, and then it burbles and it's angry [00:01:00], it's visceral. I like it. It's intoxicating. It's different than other muscle cars. It's different than European exotics. I think it sounds great. I'm driving in sport right now which allows me to use the paddle shifters. I think it sounds a little better and the shifts of the eight-speed automatic transmission are a little bit more aggressive. For such a powerful car, Dodge did a nice job of tuning it to be actually pretty drivable. I just took a corner right there and the [00:01:30] steering offers you satisfying weight to your inputs. It's a little bit of a heavier steering, especially compared to some of the earlier generation Chargers. It's sporty, but it's not crazy. The design of the Dodge Charger is a critical element. That's why a lot of people buy this car, is it gives them that muscle car heritage look. The Hellcat has some special design cues that are also functional. You've got a couple of extra air intakes up front, keeps everything cool and breathing, the air flowing through; a nice spoiler in back [00:02:00] that helps keep the aero, and the downforce keeps you on the ground. The HID projector headlights really pop, especially at night, and in back you've got the LED taillights that spread out wide across the back end of this car like some of the great Chargers of the past. This car rolls on 20-inch black wheels with a spiderweb design. I think they look good. They're kind of low-key, which I think is great.

Stellantis announces ‘Circular Economy’ business to drive revenue, decarbonization

Tue, Oct 11 2022

Stellantis has already announced its plans to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2038. Today, the automaker has announced a new business unit to help it reach that goal while generating 2 billion euros per year in revenue by 2030. The “Circular Economy” business will help make revenue less dependent on finite, rare and ecologically problematic materials. The Circular Economy model features what Stellantis calls a “4R” strategy, comprising remanufacturing, repair, reuse and recycling. The goal is to make materials last as long as they can, reducing reliance on the acquisition of those precious new materials in the future by returning them to the business loop when theyÂ’ve reached the end of their first life. Through these processes, Stellantis says it can save up to 80% raw material and 50% energy compared to manufacturing a new part. Remanufacturing, or “reman” in Stellantis shorthand, means dismantling, cleaning and rebuilding parts to OEM spec. Nearly 12,000 remanufactured parts are available for customers to purchase. Some remanufacturing is done in-house, and some with partners and through joint ventures. Repair is pretty obvious — fixing parts to put back into vehicles. This also consists of reconditioning, to make a vehicle feel like new. Stellantis boasts 21 “e-repair” centers for repairing electric vehicle batteries.  Reuse refers to parts still in good condition from end-of-life vehicles sold as-is. Stellantis says it has 4.5 million multi-brand parts in inventory. These are sold in 155 countries through the B-Parts e-commerce platform. Reuse also refers second-life options, such as using batteries outside of automotive purposes. Recycling involves dismantling parts and scraps back into raw material form that is then looped back into the manufacturing process. Stellantis says it has collected 1 million parts for recycling in the past six months. Recycling doesnÂ’t get counted in that aforementioned 2 billion euros of revenue, but it does save the company money on acquisition of raw materials. As for batteries, specifically, Stellantis expects this recycling business to ramp up after 2030, when the packs currently in service begin to reach the end of their lifecycle. Stellantis will use its new “SUSTAINera” label to denote parts that are offered as part of its Circular Economy business.

FCA and Cummins named in diesel emissions class-action lawsuit

Mon, Nov 14 2016

Chrysler is now the first United States-based carmaker to be sued for allegedly skewing emissions results. In a move that sounds eerily similar to the troubles of European manufacturers, Chrysler is claimed to have hid diesel engine characteristics causing emissions as much as 14 times higher than permitted by regulations. According to Bloomberg, the lawsuit alleges that Chrysler, together with its diesel engine partner Cummins, has concealed the nitrogen oxide output of certain Ram vehicles produced between 2007 and 2012. The NOx pollutants were meant to be broken down in a process called regeneration in the truck's NAC system, or NOx Absorption Catalyst, which predated the 2013-introduced SCR, or Selective Catalytic Reduction system. By design, the NAC captures and stores NOx emissions, converting them to nitrogen and oxygen through a catalytic process. The lawsuit claims the Cummins engine's system has a limited capacity to store the emissions, and as a result the pollutants escape, increasing emissions, worsening fuel consumption and wearing down the catalytic converter. The later, cleaner SCR system uses a urea-water injection, and it gradually replaced the NAC on Cummins 6.7-liter engines, as it was first implemented in 2011 and made standard in 2013. As Bloomberg notes, the model years of Ram trucks involved in the lawsuit predate the earliest Volkswagen "Dieselgate" models by two years. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of 500,000 truck owners, accuses Chrysler and Cummins of fraud, false advertising and racketeering. As an underlying motive, the filing mentions a 2001 change in EPA emissions standards. Announced to become effective in 2010, the EPA requirements drove Chrysler and Cummins to try and reach those already by 2007. However, the NAC system is said to have fallen short of these goals, and the filing claims that Chrysler and Cummins chose to "rig" the engines instead. The affected vehicles predate the 2014 merger of Chrysler and Fiat. FCA US has released a statement regarding the lawsuit, saying it will contest the lawsuit "vigorously".
