2003 Dodge Viper Srt-10 Convertible 2-door 8.3l Priced To Sell!!!!! on 2040-cars
Cedar Lake, Indiana, United States
I am listing this 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 for a friend, this car is absolutely gorgeous and has the following modifications, full Corsa exhaust and headers (Sounds WICKED), iPod hookup and Kicker speakers throughout the car. The car has an Indiana salvage title, the original owner lost control of the vehicle and slid off the road. But don't be alarmed, the vehicle sustained very very light damage consisting of a rear control arm and two bent factory wheels. The car was professionally fixed, then aligned, at this point we decided to upgrade to 19" front and 20" rear matte black Forgestar wheels . The Forgestar wheels are wrapped in fresh Toyo rubber. The car has one small imperfection that we have shown in the pictures, the front bumper cover has some paint crack marks down low. please contact my friend Jeff @ 219-916-5519 with any questions or to setup an appointment for an inspection. This Viper is EXTREMELY clean!!!! There will be no disappointments here, this Viper SRT-10 IS AWESOME!!!! Again please contact Jeff directly. I will not be answering questions on this car!! Again his number is 219-916-5519 and his email is Jasmith405@gmail.com

Top torque-to-weight ratios under $100k, $50k and $25k
Tue, 07 Oct 2014Horsepower may steal a lot of headlines, but the always-more-complex torque figure is often a critical one for both the workingman and the motoring playboy. The measure of rotational force represents the twist that can liquefy one's tires or haul one's horse trailer. Good stuff.
It follows then, that as with the horsepower-to-weight list that we assembled for you a few months ago, a list of cars that offer the most pound-feet with the fewest pounds to carry, is an interesting one to break down. Sure, there's a big difference in how the torque is applied from a turbocharged six-cylinder in a Swedish luxury sedan and a massive heavy-duty truck's turbo-diesel. But being the car/stat geeks that we are, we think it's kinda neat that those two vehicles rank near each other where torque and weight intersect.
As with the horsepower list, we've given you figures as pounds per every one pound-foot. Again broken down into broad price categories, we've got a mixed bag of 2014 and 2015 models here, too. Every effort has been made to select the most up-to-date prices and specs, and we've also to omitted some '14 cars that won't be re-upped after the ongoing yearly changeover.
2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

MotorWeek revisits the awesome, original Dodge Viper
Sat, Jun 6 2015MotorWeek is bringing the automotive world a wonderful blast from the past with its latest Retro Review. Not only does the video feature the now-famous, original Dodge Viper, but this is also a chance to watch one lapping Pocono International Raceway in a test of track prowess. This segment was MotorWeek's first chance to unleash the Viper around a racecourse, and the show took advantage of the opportunity. In addition to the usual 0-60 mph and quarter-mile tests, the 400-horsepower V10 is let loose to do lap after lap. The clip offers a great dose of nostalgia and is worth a watch to remember the intense enthusiasm surrounding the Viper at the time.
