Look! Up for sale a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500. Short body, High ceiling. It has 365k original mostly highway miles. The engine is a 2.7 5 cylinder turbo diesel. Starts right up, the oil has been changed. All the fluids were checked and topped off as needed. New breaks installed. The engine and the transmission were taken from a 70k mile Sprinter. I have the receipts to prove that. The transmission shifts smooth and runs quiet without problems. No noises in the suspension and it feels strong. The Air Conditioner works fine. All the lights work. It has a Am/FM/Cassette player. It Has power windows, power door locks. The tires are in the ok shape at about 70% thread left. Front left is a little less. The body looks good and there are virtually no scratches. The cargo area is completely empty. The interior is in good shape with a little rip in the driver's seat. Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.

Dodge gives 2015 Viper slight power increase, new GT model
Tue, 02 Sep 2014With its troubling sales figures, the newly rechristened SRT Dodge Viper needs to come out swinging for 2015. To do that, Dodge has made a number of tweaks and changes that will hopefully carry the V10-powered sports car into more successful days.
First up for 2015 is a new GT model, which aims to marry the reasonable price of the base car with the adjustable suspension and trick stability control program of the GTS model. The GT also sports a cabin that's covered in Alcantara suede and Nappa leather as standard.
Also new for 2015 is the SRT TA 2.0 Special Edition, which expands on last year's Viper TA by adding new aerodynamic bits and bobs, including a larger rear wing, which ups downforce at 150 miles per hour from 278 pounds to 400 pounds.
