SELLING WITH NO RESERVE /  THAT MEANS THAT THE LAST AND FINAL BIDDER WILL BE THE THE NEW OWNER OF THIS SUPER CLEAN AND WELL KEPT  SPRINTER, I HAVE SEEN 50K MILE SPRINTERS THAT ARE NOT THIS NICE .CHECK THIS ONE OUT , ITS A BEAUTY!!

OFFERING FOR AUCTION A BEAUTIFUL 02 FREIGHTLINER SPRINTER, I HAVE HAD SEVERAL OF THESE VEHICLES IN THE PAST FROM FLEET USE, THIS IS BY FAR THE NICEST USED SPRINTER I HAVE SEEN COME UP FOR SALE, IT WAS OWNED BY ST. JOHNS MERCY HOSPITAL, DONT LET THE MILES FOOL YOU . THESE VEHICLES ARE CAPABLE OF EXCEEDING 1 MILLION OR MORE MILES, I HAVE HAD SEVERAL WITH OVER 500K AND A FEW WITH OVER 600K, I SEE THEM STILL RUNNING STRONG WITH MORE MILES THAN THAT . IF YOU ARE LOOKING YOU KNOW WHAT THEY CAN DO. ANYWAY I DROVE THIS VEHICLE HOME FOR A DISTANCE OF 120 MILES IT DRIVES LIKE A NEW SPRINTER ,VERY STRAIGHT AND TIGHT, THE AC IS ICE COLD, THE BODY IS VERY CLEAN & STRAIGHT AND I SEE NO RUST ISSUES AT ALL, ALL DOORS ARE CLEAN AND SOLID, THE INTERIOR IS ALSO VERY NICE AND CLEAN,DEFIANTLY HAS NOT BEEN ABUSED OR TRASHED  BY NON CARING EMPLOYEES , VEHICLE HAS BEEN VERY WELL KEPT, PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP IS REFLECTED IN THIS VEHICLES APPEARANCE,AND OVERALL COND. PLEASE SEE PICTURES,  MINOR CHIPS AND DINGS ARE PRESENT AS WITH ANY PRE OWNED VEHICLE. ALL OPTIONS ARE IN WORKING CONDITION,THIS VEHICLE ALSO HAS A UNIQUE CAB BLOCK OFF PANEL THAT SEPARATES THE CAB FROM THE CARGO AREA,THERE IS A GLASS WINDOW BEHIND THE SEATS, I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE SET UP LIKE THIS, SEE PICS.  THERE IS A DUCT TAPE REPAIR ON DRIVERS SEAT. I HAVE LIFTED THE TAPE TO SEE AND I BELIEVE THE TAPE IS OVERKILL FOR THE SEAT REPAIR, A SIMPLE STITCHING JOB WOULD HAVE WORKED BETTER.
THE TIRES ARE AT LEAST 60 TO 75 % WEARING EVEN AND CORRECTLY,ALL CENTER CAPS ARE ALSO ON THE WHEELS.

THE 2.7 LTR. DIESEL MOTOR RUNS SMOOTH AS A BRAND NEW ONE OUT THE TAIL PIPE, NO SPUTTERS OR MISSES , NO SMOKING, JUST WISPERS LIKE A NEW ONE , VERY CLEAN UNDER THE HOOD AS WELL AS UNDER THE VEHICLE , ALSO APPEARS TO HAVE A FRESH INTERSTATE BATTERY. WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IT SOUNDED LIKE IT HAD AN EXHAUST LEAK, I DROPPED IT BY THE EXHAUST SHOP, IT IS NOT A EXHAUST LEAK BUT A FUEL INJECTOR "SEAL" LEAKING ON THE 3RD CYL, BACK, THIS WILL NEED THE INJECTOR PULLED AND THE COPPER SEAL INSTALLED, I HAVE PURCHASED THE COPPER SEAL AND IT GOES WITH THE SPRINTER, I TALKED TO FREIGHTLINER IN KANSAS CITY MO. THEY SAY THIS IS QUITE COMMON, AND THE NEW COPPER SEAL WILL  FIX THE LEAK , I COULD NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANWSER ON TIME OR LABOR COST, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. OR MABEY YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF. I AM SELLING THE VEHICLE AS IS WHERE IS AND LETTING YOU KNOW WHAT IT NEEDS NOW.

THIS IS THE ONLY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE THAT I AM AWARE OF,

THERE ARE NO DASH LIGHTS ON OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, EXHAUST IS VERY SOLID NO LEAKS OR ISSUES, BRAKES ARE VERY TIGHT AND CORRECT, I SEE ONE SMALL ROCK CHIP IN WINDSHIELD, ALL WINDOWS LOCKS, WORK PROPERLY HAS A BRAND NEW JVC STEREO INSTALLED, STILL HAVE BOX AND INSTRUCTIONS.

THE SPRINTER HAS JUST HAD A ROTILLA T 15- 40 OIL SERVICE LESS THAN 300 MILES AGO, I FEEL IT IS A GREAT VEHICLE AND DEFIANTLY WORTH FIXING, IT RUNS DRIVES AND SHIFTS VERY WELL IN SPITE OF ITS INJECTOR SEAL ISSUE , THIS WILL MAKE A NICE VEHICLE TO REPRESENT YOUR BUSINESS

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO CALL ME DIRECTLY I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANWSER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE CALL JIM AT 573 374 4664 OR E MAIL ME

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum is shutting down permanently this December

Thu, Nov 10 2016

It is with disappointment that we report the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, MI, will be closed down permanently at the end of this year. The museum, which closed in 2012 after not being able to cover costs, was recently reopened to the public on alternating weekends starting in June, but Chrysler made the decision to shutter it altogether after its final day of operation on December 18, 2016. The reason for this is primarily because FCA needs more office space, and the company decided to convert the museum for that purpose. The the cars will be moved to storage after the closure, and they'll be shown at various events. However, they'll only be able to be seen together for two more weekends. Those weekends include those of November 19 and 20, and December 17 and 18. The museum will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on those days. If you can, we highly recommend visiting the museum. Adults get in for $10, seniors and retired FCA employees for $8, kids between 6 and 17 for $6, and kids under 5 for free. It also has some fantastic cars including concepts from the 1950s to the 2000s, oddball performance vehicles such as the Omni GLH-S, and of course plenty of fascinating history. And if it makes any difference to you, there's even a purple Plymouth Prowler you can sit in. Just make sure you don't wait too long to make up your mind about visiting. Related Video:

Dodge Charger Hellcat makes 1,032 hp with Hennessey help

Fri, Feb 26 2016

Sometimes you just want four doors. Earlier this week we brought you Hennessey's riff on the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Now comes the Charger. Much like its two-door sibling, the Charger gets boosted to as much as 1,032 hp and 987 lb-ft of torque (at the crank) thanks to the addition of a twin-turbocharging setup that works with the factory supercharger. The turbo headers and downpipes are stainless steel, and there is a high-flow air-to-water intercooler and dual-turbo waste gates. Hennessey also beefs up the fuel injectors, fuel pump, and the rest of the fuel system. The engine management system and chassis are recalibrated to accommodate all of this. You also get numbered plaques signed by John Hennessey, the boss of the Texas tuning outfit, and the technician who does your build. Hennessey's additions result in zero-to-60 mph sprints in 2.7 seconds, and the big sedan can run the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 142 mph. Like the Challenger, the Charger has the same disclaimer: the lofty horsepower figure comes from an engine dyno, and it will be a 15-to 20-percent lower at the rear wheels. Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.
