For sale my 2003 Dodge 1500 conversion van with 69,000 miles. i have had this van for 4 years and love it but with 3 cars and we are building a deli every penny counts so she must go. All shocks replaced 15 months ago new radiator installed 12 months ago new hoses , belt and pulley installed 12 months ago new tires have 2000 miles on them new 22 in flat screen tv 750 watt power inverter hard wired directly to battery with a 100 amp fuse Cobra cb extra 12v outlets back up camera Garmin Gps Sirius 2 dvd players one in back one in dash only 2 negatives small rust spot on drivers side rocker easy fix and has small vacuum leak since I bought it still runs perfect and I have the pictures to prove the 6 times it went from ny to florida I have always done preventative maintenance none of the parts listed above ever broke I change things in advance to make sure we were always safe. Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
