White 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 Slt Larmie 4wd Standard Cab 2 Door Only 217,076 Miles on 2040-cars
Kingston, Tennessee, United States
This beautiful 3500 4wd long bed dually is in great condition! It only has 217,076 miles on it and the tires are in good shape! This truck has been barn kept when we were not using it and it has no cracks at all in the dash! Everything works on this truck inside and out! None of the engine lights are on! The only ding this truck has on it is on the tailgate at the top of it and it is probably the size of a dime and you can barley see it. It has a bed liner! It has a full towing package with gooseneck ball and brake box installed. It has the plug in the bed for a gooseneck trailer and a plug on the hitch! It also has added leaf springs on each side on rear springs which it was like that when we purchased the truck in 2009. It is a 5 speed manual and has 4wd which works great with no problems! It has the 5.9l Cummins 24 valve engine in it and runs like a top! It also has a k & n air filter in it and new breaks on rear axle. This truck has a single 4" straight pipe all the way back with a 5" stainless tip and sounds awesome!!! We installed a cd player but it has no face plate. The cd player is fully functional with a remote and works great! The entire truck has been serviced by my husband who is a diesel mechanic. We have taken very good care if this vehicle and have changed the oil EVERY 5,000 miles! The rear and front differential transmission and transfer case have all been drained and refilled. It has a Fass lift pump fuel system installed. The cooling system has been flushed and refilled also. Engine valves have also been adjusted at 214,000 miles! The tailgate was red on this truck when we purchased it and so we painted it white ourselves and turned out looking really good! This truck has absolutely no rust on it! We have owned this truck since 2009 and bought it locally. The title is clear! This truck has only been used here on the farm and has only pulled a handfull of times a 16' jon boat and hay trailers with no problem at all! These Cummins engines with the manual transmission are tough and known for their pulling and will amaze you at what they can pull. Counting us and the rest of my family on the farm own 5 of them and love the Cummins in them! This has been a great truck and has NEVER gave us a bit of trouble! The only reason we are selling it is because our family is growing and we needed more room so we just purchased the same truck but in a mega cab so this one has to go even though we hate to see it leave. If you decide to purchase this truck please deposit 500.00 into my Paypal account and the rest of the money needs to be cash, money order, or cashiers check to me. The truck is ready for a good cleaning inside and out and we will have this done before you pick up the truck! It is the buyers full responsibility for shipping. If you have any other questions feel free to email me through Ebay and thank you and have a great day! If you would like anymore photos of the truck just email me your # and I can text them to you!

FCA and UAW deal could mean huge production shakeups
Thu, Sep 17 2015The big labor contract between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the United Auto Workers is likely to lead to some very serious production shakeups across the company's North American manufacturing operations. That's according to a new report from Automotive News, which details the sweeping changes at no fewer than five production facilities in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Mexico, and Poland. So without further ado, here's what's going where, presented in easy to digest bullet form. Ram 1500 production would move from Warren, MI to Sterling Heights, MI Warren, MI would be retooled for unibody production and would handle the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and could potentially build Grand Cherokees to ease the strain on Detroit's Jefferson North factory Chrysler 200 production would move from Sterling Heights, MI to Toluca, Mexico Dodge Dart production would move from Belvidere, IL to Toluca, Mexic Fiat 500 production, which is currently handled by Toluca, would be concentrated in Poland, where the Euro-spec Cinquecento is built Jeep Cherokee production would move from Toledo, OH to Belvidere, IL to make room for Wrangler and Wrangler Pickup production Like we said, those are some big changes. But, as FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne said in an earlier interview with Automotive News, this kind of shakeup would make a lot of sense. In that August interview the exec said that automakers moved truck production to Mexico because they were "threatened" by the UAW. "The only thing [the UAW] want is to move the truck back. Which is right. If you move the truck back here, which is [the UAW's] domain, [and move] all the cars that we get killed on somewhere else, we could actually make sense of this bloody industry and actually increase the number of people employed in this country and really share wealth because we are making money," Marchionne told AN. Stellantis is official: FCA and PSA merger finally sealed
Sat, Jan 16 2021MILAN — Fiat Chrysler and PSA sealed their long-awaited merger on Saturday to create Stellantis, the world's fourth-largest auto group with deep enough pockets to fund the shift to electric driving and take on bigger rivals Toyota and Volkswagen. It took over a year for the Italian-American and French automakers to finalize the $52 billion deal, during which the global economy was upended by the COVID-19 pandemic. They first announced plans to merge in October 2019, to create a group with annual sales of around 8.1 million vehicles. "The merger between Peugeot S.A. and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. that will lead the path to the creation of Stellantis N.V. became effective today," the two automakers said in a statement. Shares in Stellantis, which will be headed by current PSA Chief Executive Carlos Tavares, will start trading in Milan and Paris on Monday, and in New York on Tuesday. Now analysts and investors are turning their focus to how Tavares plans to address the huge challenges facing the group – from excess production capacity to a woeful performance in China. Tavares will hold his first press conference as Stellantis CEO on Tuesday, after ringing NYSE's bell with Chairman John Elkann. FCA and PSA have said Stellantis can cut annual costs by over 5 billion euros ($6.1 billion) without plant closures, and investors will be keen for more details on how it will do this. Marco Santino, a partner at consultants Oliver Wyman, said he expected Tavares to disclose the outlines of his action plan soon, but without divulging too many details at first. "He has proven to be the kind of person who prefers action to words, so I don't think he will make loud statements or try to over-sell targets," he said. Like all global automakers, Stellantis needs to invest billions in the years ahead to transform its vehicle range for the electric era. But other pressing tasks loom, including reviving the group's lagging fortunes in China, rationalizing its huge global empire and addressing massive overcapacity. "It will be a step by step process, also to allow the market to better appreciate every single move. I don't think we will have all the details before one year," Santino said.
