Custom Built 2012 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 3500 Dually Laramie on 2040-cars
Damascus, Oregon, United States
Custom fabricated 8" lift from BDS but had to be fabricated fit a dually.40" tires and 24.5 in wheels off 2011 freightliner with 8-10 lug adapters. This is a true show truck and it just gets driven on the weekends. less then 3900 miles at this time. 1 dent about the size of a quarter on the top of bed next to tailgate.
No money spared when building this, I did the fully upgraded BDS Long arm lift kit, with fox 2.0 shocks, ladder bars in the rear with blocks. dual 9500 steering stabilizer. The wheels are 4 outer accuride (alcoa styling) aluminum 24.5 and 2 steel inner same style wheels. sitting on 285/75r24.5 measures out 40.1 inches. Truck drives great, does have equal in the front 2 to help balance. Front 2 are steer tires and rear 4 are drive traction tires which can be re-capped to save a ton of money. I took of the exhaust around 800 miles and installed a 5" turbo back exhaust with muffler and have the SIMS installed to keep out engine codes, but you can install a programmer if you wish. egr and cooler are still intact and never tampered with. As well as the intake is still factory. I have used an XRT pro programmer on the truck for added horsepower and speedometer adjustment for tires. The Interior is incredible with EVERY option you can imagine, power everything , sunroof, heated AND cooled seats, heated steering wheel, heated and cooled rear seats, black leather with center console. DVD/navigation/satiligte radio. megacab so even very tall grown ups fit in the back seats. No steps on the truck so its a stretch to get in but I had the look of steps. Exterior is very nice, with one very small dent in the corner of the bed by tailgate on the top. No idea how it happened since the truck is so high. Other surface scratches (very fine) just from washing and drying it. Any questions please ask, this is sold as is where is and up to buy to find a big enough truck to ship it. I will help or assist in any way. Thank you |

Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
The final-year Viper special editions sold out so fast Dodge is adding more
Fri, Jul 1 2016Viper collectors don't mess around. After Dodge opened ordering for its 25th anniversary 2017 Viper models – some of the last ones that will be built – all of the cars were spoken for in just five days. The company managed to sell 206 cars, an average of about 41 per day. Compare that to the 241 Vipers sold through May of this year and you can see why special editions make good business sense. Demand was so strong that Dodge will add a sixth special-edition for the Viper's last year of production. Within the group of five initial special packages, the winner was the 1:28 Edition ACR; all 28 went in 40 minutes. Dodge sold the 31 VooDoo II Edition ACRs in two hours, while 25 Snakeskin Edition GTCs and 100 GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACRs took two days to sell out. The 22 Dodge Dealer Edition ACRs took five days – apparently the dealers were too busy taking orders for the other 184 cars they didn't have time to order their own. The additional anniversary car is called the Snakeskin ACR. Dodge will build "up to" 31 of them, which we're pretty sure means exactly 31 if the previous demand is any indicator. The count matches the 2010 run of Snakeskin ACRs and will take the final-edition total to 237. We don't have any photos of that one yet, but you can get a good idea of what it will look like from the Snakeskin GTC. This one features Snakeskin Green paint, obviously, with a custom snakeskin-patterned SRT stripe, the ACR Package, the Extreme Aero Package, carbon-ceramic brakes, the ACR interior, a serialized Snakeskin badge on the instrument panel, and a custom car cover with the owner's name by the door. It will be available to order in the middle of this month, which means it will be sold out well by the end of the month. Chances are these and many of the others will go to mega-collectors like Wayne and D'Ann Rauh of Texas, who, at last count, owned 79 Vipers. Seventy-nine. Like we said, Viper collectors don't mess around. Related Video:
Dodge Journey gets more SUV-like look with new Crossroad model
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Looking to play up its aging three-row crossover, Dodge will introduce a new model for its Journey franchise at next week's Chicago Auto Show. The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad will be a new trim level positioned between the SXT and Limited, and it will be distinguished from other Journey models thanks to a handful of styling add-ons.
Plucking a page right out of the appearance playbook of the Ford Explorer Sport, the Journey Crossroad gets a meaner, more SUV-like demeanor. The Journey has often straddled the line between tall wagon and crossover, but this new trim goes a long way toward skewing its visuals toward the utility vehicle end of the spectrum. That's thanks largely to the Platinum chrome exterior trim on its roof rails and side sills, unique fascias, smoked headlights and taillights and, of course, those black 19-inch wheels. Inside, the Journey Crossroad will get a similar treatment, with darker, Liquid Graphite accents throughout the cabin, and the model will also come standard with leather seats (which Dodge says are a new design), and Chrysler's giant 8.4-inch Uconnect screen.
The 2014 Journey Crossroad goes on sale this spring with a starting price of $24,995 (*not including $995 for destination) for the four-cylinder, front-wheel-drive model, but Dodge says that the model will also be offered with more power and capability from the optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and all-wheel-drive. Scroll down for the full press release, and check back next week for our live coverage from Chicago.
