Up for sale is my 2007 Dodge Ram 3500, Single rear wheel 4 door 4x4, pickup. This truck has the 5.9 Cummins turbo Diesel, and an automatic tranny. Truck runs, drives, and handles well, and has just gone through the Manitoba safety inspection and passed with ease. Its a Canadian truck so the odometer is at 222xxx kms, whick equals approx 138xxx miles. All in all this is a nice truck, the reason its for sale, is that my wife can't get our daughter into her car seat, as the truck is too high for her. Its the SLT, so it has pwr windows, locks, mirrors, pwr drivers seat, a/c, tilt, cruise, electronic 4x4 that works well. NO leather. There are no cracks on the dash, and no rips in the interior, however the previous owner was a smoker and there is a cigarette burn on the drivers seat, and the side bolster of the seat has been flattened, again NOT ripped, just hammered flat by a big 'ol butt! Also there is a small dent above the rear drivers side wheel. It was partially removed by a paintless dent removal guy, so its WAY smaller than in the picture, but it is there. This is a used truck, not perfect, but it is a good all around vehicle. I just put about 600 miles on the truck and averaged 23 mpg! There is NO warranty either expressed or implied. A $500 (paypal) NON refundable deposit is due no later than 24 hours from auction close, with the balance due at pickup of vehicle. If you choose to fly in, I will pick you up at the airport, and you can drive your new pickup home. ( you would be flying into the Winnipeg Manitoba airport.) I Don't think I'm missing anything, but please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have! Truck is advertised locally as well, so I reserve the right to end auction early. Thanks for looking!

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats
Thu, 02 Jan 2014It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
Chrysler extends fuel tank warranties on LX cars, NHTSA ends probe
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ended its investigation of 153,817, 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi V8-powered 2006 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum models after reports of stalling. Chrysler has responded by granting a lifetime warranty on the fuel tanks for these vehicles.
NHTSA received 299 reports of engines stalling while the models were stopped or driving at low speeds, and began an investigation. The government agency found that the control valve shutoff float in the V8s' 19-gallon fuel tank could malfunction if the fuel had too high of an ethanol content. In many cases, the valve would break in the open position, allowing the tank to be overfilled, which would then cause the cars to stall. However, there were no accidents reported, and the vehicles could be restarted immediately.
There will not be a recall on these vehicles because, "the condition represents a low risk to motor vehicle safety and is adequately addressed by Chrysler's extended warranty," NHTSA said to The Detroit News.
