Hi, I am selling my 1998 ram 3500 turbo diesel truck. The truck has approximately 135k miles on it. It is in good mechanical condition. As you can see from the pictures, there is rust damage to the fenders and cab and the rear fender is broken on one side. Other than that, there are no problems with the truck. Rust is only on the body, the frame has minimal surface rust but no major rust of any kind on the frame. The truck has 6 new tires with 90%+ tread, 4x4 works fine, cruise works, has a gooseneck ball, new alternator, new main battery. The transmission was changed at sometime, and it appears that the front 4x4 system was replaced at some time as it looks newer than the rest of the truck. I am selling the truck because I just dont need it and I have only driven it about 4k miles in the 2 years Ive owned it. I just cant justify the expense of keeping the insurance, inspections and plates up to date. Please notice my 100% positive feedback over more than 10 years, and feel free to ask any questions. Truck is located in Marion VA currently. Zip code is 24354. Thanks!

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans
Fri, 18 Jan 2013As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:
