Really cool, Really rare, Good ol' Dodge!  This truck is in very good shape for 31 years old! I just recently got it from the original owner in northern California, it spent its life as a family hauler and not a ranch, farm, or logger truck <they're usually beat up pretty bad!> I have tried to take some good pictures of it so you can see how clean it is. It does have the big Warn winch out front and it works fine! 1 Ton axels front and rear, 360 V-8 has an Edelbrock 4 Barrel carburetor and runs pretty smooth! The 4 Speed transmission goes thru the gears nicely, 3 speed transfer case and manual hubs work good too! Short bed is nice and not beat up or rusted thru like a lot of older trucks. All the glass is intact, not scratched, broken, chipped or cracked. The interior has Vinyl seats and floors, they're very nice, only 1 small rip in the rear seat. Door panels and Dashboard are intact, no cracks- Look good, the door panels are a little faded but still great. If your a true Dodge person, you will LOVE this old truck! You don't see a lot of these crew cabs, especially 1 tons!

Please feel free to contact me with ANY questions you have!  I would like to hear from bidders and will check my messages frequently.

Now for the winning bidder... I will require a $500.00 NON-Refundable Deposit via Pay-Pal within 48 hours of winning the truck, OR it WILL go back up for auction again. PLEASE do NOT bid on this truck if you do not intend to buy it or have no way of getting it from its current location to you. It is the BUYERS responsibility to figure out transportation or shipping of this truck. I sell it AS-IS, WHERE-IS, its 31 years old, obviously there is NO WARRANTY. I will give the buyer ONE WEEK to pay the remaining amount and collect the truck.

Thank you for checking it out! Good luck, Happy bidding!

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat revealed [UPDATE]

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

Almost immediately after we drove the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, we began wondering: what's next? Pumping 707 horsepower into the Challenger seemed so crazy - and so intoxicating - we just assumed that Dodge would try that trick again.
Rumors swirled about a Charger Hellcat. Frankly it makes even more sense than the Challenger version. The Charger is a bigger car, and Dodge has never been shy about dropping monster engines under its hood. Hell (cat), we've seen Charger mules running around town that appeared to be the super sedan.
And finally, it's here. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat was revealed today at a preview event near Detroit, and it will be a centerpiece of the Chrysler display this weekend at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites

Sun, Jan 7 2024

Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.
