Up for sale is the most dependable diesel truck on the road, the venerable 12 valve Cummins Dodge Ram! For those not familiar with these trucks, a little bit of research will give you a clue as to why the 94-early 98 Dodge Ram Diesel Trucks bring such a premium.  These are the motors EXPECTED to run over 800k miles with routine maintenance. These are the trucks that get 22-25mpg hwy STOCK and better with modifications.  These are the trucks with the mechanical fuel pump...an issue that many 98.5-02 Cummins owners have spend thousands on fixing. With that being said, if you're looking at this truck, you probably already know all this and more. This truck is bone stock and has never been modified. The engine runs extremely strong, transmission shifts as it should and four wheel drive operates properly. The only mechanical issue I can find is the power steering is leaking fluid and will make turning difficult when it gets low. Cosmetically, the truck is a 10 footer. The paint itself is in good shape but the cab and two doors has a lot of rust(as expected on most of these trucks). Fortunately, metal patch panels are not very expensive if you were wanting to fix the rust.  The bed is in good shape and has a small amount above each rear wheel well that can easily be fixed. Interior is in average shape for the year of truck. THIS TRUCK HAS NEVER HAD A GOOSENECK OR 5th WHEEL INSTALLED! Yes, you read right. This truck has had an easy life and is ready for a lifetime of trouble free service.

I take great pride in fully disclosing the condition of my vehicles. Please call with any questions you may have about the car and let me know if I can help locate an auto transport company for you. There is a mandatory $120 dealer doc. fee on all ebay/internet sales

NOTE: $500 deposit due within 24hrs of auctions end. After this point, it will be offered to the next highest bidder if you cannot complete the transaction. Full payment due within 10 days of auctions end.

2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop glosses over performance

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

The Dodge Dart is a decent little car. It's honest, basic transportation, and many of us at Autoblog are genuinely fond of the Alfa Romeo-based compact sedan. For 2014, not a whole lot changes in the Dart world, save the addition of this new Blacktop edition that makes its debut here at the Detroit Auto Show.
It's all very simple, this Blacktop package, and doesn't actually alter performance in any way. Instead, buyers are treated to blacked-out exterior bits like 18-inch wheels, the crosshair grille and headlamp bezels. Inside, black/tungsten or black/red cloth seats are available, with red contrast stitching throughout the cabin.
Adding the Blacktop pack to your Dart SXT with the Rallye Appearance Group will set you back a scant $295, and while it's just an appearance package, it all looks pretty nice to us.

An inside look at Mopar's SEMA fleet

Fri, 31 Oct 2014

Mopar is heading to the SEMA show in Las Vegas with a fleet of customized vehicles that appeal to enthusiasts of all stripes. There's a Dodge Viper ACR concept that follows in the lineage of the supercar's great road racing past, and a custom Ram ProMaster that might just be the ultimate outdoor party machine.
We got an inside look at Mopar's cars that will be on display at the show, which also include a Dodge Challenger T/A concept, two crazy Jeeps and a Ram 2500 Outdoorsman that could change the way you camp. While these are some of our favorites, Mopar is bringing plenty to SEMA, so let us know your top choices in the comments section.

Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
