You are bidding on a much loved 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Big Horn Edition Mega Cab Diesel truck. The truck is in Excellent condition with very low wear/use. I bought the truck to pull an Airstream Trailer that I have recently sold, so the truck is now up for sale as well.

The truck is a power beast. It is perfect for all sorts of applications, but if you are pulling a trailer it's like it isn't even back there. With a built in exhaust brake, electric trailer brake control, tow/haul function etc. it is perfect for the long haul.

The truck is loaded with features including the entertainment package with rear ceiling video screen and individual wireless headphones (great for kiddos on long trips). Also, because it's a mega-cab the back seats recline and are great for adults. It also has the factory spray in bed liner.

When I bought the truck I invested in the 7/70 Maximum Care Transferable Service Contract. The effective date was 9/11/2011 and it expires on 9/11/2018 or at 70,000 miles.

I ran and have the clean CarFax report I can provide upon request. There are 2 outstanding Chrysler recalls that I will have fixed at no charge at Carl Burger Dodge in SD prior to delivery. While there I will have the standard maintenance due performed so you'll be all set.

All said, the truck is being sold as-is.

That's about it! Check out the pictures and fire away with questions. The truck is a gem.

Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.

Redonkulous Dodge Charger is ridin' high

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

We're a bit hazy on the styling of this particular donk, which was recently spotted hashing about by HotCarsTV at the Southern Heritage Classic Car show in Memphis. Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. Take a look down below for a brief video of this outrageous mean green machine on the road.

2013 Dodge Charger AWD Sport

Tue, 29 Jan 2013

We won't beat around the bush: The all-wheel-drive Dodge Charger is not a brand new car. This generation launched in 2011, AWD models and all. But for 2013, Chrysler has added an optional sport package to the AWD model, available with both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the sweet, sweet 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The upgrades for this new sport pack are mainly cosmetic; a gloss black grille, new 19-inch alloy wheels and body-colored rear spoiler make up the list of exterior changes. Inside, there are new sport seats and paddle shifters, and the eight-speed automatic transmission has been reflashed for better performance.
But because vehicles like the Dodge Charger mainly stick out in our minds as being rear-drive bruisers, Chrysler wanted to give us the opportunity to test out the LX platform's foul-weather prowess. And perhaps no place more appropriate to test such a system was way up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the dead of winter.
