Offered for sale is my 2007.5 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport Quad Cab 4x4 with the 6.7 Cummins Diesel. This truck only has 65,000 miles on it, and only 3,000 miles on the brand new BD performance transmission with triple disc torque converter and power black flex plate. I just has this incredible transmission system installed at a cost of $7,400! This is a very special truck and has been tuned with H & S Performance parts including a Mini Maxx controller, DPF delete, EGR cooler delete, and more. Dual yellow-top Optima Spiral Cell batteries are also under the hood. Add to that the K&N cold air intake and you have one powerful beast! It has a 2" Skyjacker lift with Skyjacker shocks and steering stabilizer. It rolls on 20 inch KMC Rockstar wheels wrapped with Dick Cepek Tires, all surrounded with new custom painted Bushwacker pocket fender flares. There are many other extras including an Extang Trifecta tonneau cover, towing package, Dodge bed liner and much more. It also features an MBRP exhaust with a polished stainless tip. This is an extra clean non smoker truck, freshly detailed with a fresh Ziebart undercoating. It has been immaculately maintained with ALL receipts and service records since I purchased it in 2008 with 14,000 miles on it. It has a fresh New York State inspection and a fresh oil change. It is in exceptionally good condition inside and out, with only the normal wear and tear that you would expect from a 65,000 mile truck.  There is a piece of plastic that is broken by the outside joint of the passenger side exterior mirror, but it is only cosmetic, it does not affect function.  It is in the pictures, but you can barely see it.  I can't imagine you could find a nicer 07 Cummins with this gear in this condition.  Seriously - it is that nice. I want to sell the truck, but serious offers only please - if you are looking, you know what these trucks sell for.

Please email me with any questions PRIOR to placing your bid.  I absolutely love this truck and would not be selling it, but we have closed our business and need to scale down.  I have maintained this truck thinking that I would own it for many years to come.  This is the right truck!

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.
