UP FOR SALE IS A 2006 DODGE RAM 2500 CUMMINS DIESEL WITH 190650 MILES, CLEAN TITLE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHEAP NICE DIESEL TRUCK YOUR SEARCH IS OVER. THE TRUCK RUNS GOOD AND DRIVES STRONG AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT A DODGE YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT THESE TRUCKS RUN FOREVER. THE TRUCK DOES HAVE SOME BLEMISHES AND THEY ARE NOTED IN THE PICTURES. IT NEEDS A FRONT PASSENGER HEAD LIGHT, REALLY LIGHT BODY WORK ( I WOULD SAY LESS THAN 600.00) ON THE PASSENGER FENDER AND THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR AS YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY IN THE PHOTOS FOR THIS TRUCK. THE TRUCKS RUNS STRONG AND DRIVES GOOD THE TIRES ARE BFGOODRICH (LIKE NEW AROUND 7K MILES) AND I AM NOT A FAN OF THEM BUT SOME MAY LIKE THEM. IT IS A SOLID TRUCK AND SHOULD HAVE NO ISSUES RUNNING WHERE EVER YOU DESIRE. AS MOST PEOPLE KNOW THESE 5.9 DIESEL MOTORS ARE PRETTY MUCH BULLET PROOF, THEY RUN FOREVER AND ARE HARD TO FIND. I DON'T KNOW ALOT OF HISTORY ON THE TRUCK BUT THE PERSON I BOUGHT IT FROM GAVE ME THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. THE TRUCK IS PRETTY MUCH STOCK AND HAS HAD THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT AT 170000 MILES (WHICH IS NORMAL FOR A DODGE) AND HAS A FREE FLOW STRAIGHT THROUGH EXHAUST (LOUD) . IT HAS NO 5TH WHEEL OR GOOSENECK TRAILER HITCH IN THE BED SO I ASSUME IT HAS NEVER PULLED ANYTHING HEAVY UNLESS IT WAS A TAG-ALONG TRAILER. THE TRUCK IS PRICED REALLY LOW AND WILL GO TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS PLEASE EMAIL ME AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO RESPOND TO YOU.

Camaro driver clocked at 171 miles per hour

Wed, Apr 13 2016

Chevy's 2016 Camaro SS is a fantastic piece of automotive engineering. It is also, apparently, very, very fast. This latter fact was perfectly illustrated when, on April 8, a Camaro SS driver was nailed in Two Harbors, Minnesota for doing 171 mph. According to WFAA, the unnamed speed demon was flying down Highway 61 near Two Harbors when Hermantown, MN Deputy Police Chief Shawn Padden clocked him at an eye-watering 171 mph. He then recorded the speeder at 168 and 141. At the time, Deputy Chief Padden was working with Minnesota State Patrol on an anti-DWI program called "Toward Zero Deaths". Padden, who was interviewed by the Duluth News Tribune, said he was surprised at the driver's sheer speed. "When he went by me, it was a blur," Padden told the News. "You get used to seeing people going 65 or 70 and what that looks like. But I've never seen anything like this. It's like a rocket on wheels." Fadden chased the Camaro down eventually, but it took some doing. To catch the Camaro, he pushed his Dodge Charger Pursuit to 135 mph just to get into range so the Camaro could see his emergency lights. The speeding driver was ticketed for careless driving, but may lose his license due to a Minnesota law that gives courts the option of revoking licenses for drivers caught doing more than 100 mph. Chrysler slows minivan production, hasn't built VW Routan this year

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Chrysler has slowed production of its Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans this week, Automotive News reports. The Windsor, Ontario plant will cut its three shifts from eight hours each to four hours each in an effort "to align production with market demand," a Chrysler spokesperson told AN. Chrysler also builds the closely related Routan minivan for Volkswagen at its Ontario facility, but has not built a single example thus far in 2013.
Sales of Chrysler's minivans fell 15 percent for the first two months of 2013, and a large part of that has to do with the 26-percent drop of the Grand Caravan alone (the T&C was only down by one percent). According to Automotive News data, as of March 1, Chrysler had an unsold inventory of 24,713 Town and Country models and 18,547 Grand Caravans - a 69- and 43-day supply, respectively.
"No sense running full speed now, then have a lot of vehicles sitting around a few months down the line," Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson told AN. Full production is expected to resume again on March 18.
