2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Cummins Turbo Diesel 4x4 Family Car With Clean Title on 2040-cars
Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States
Yes...we are sad...but the
time has come for us to part with our family vehicle......this truck has been
our summer-trip go-to-vehicle, and is lightly driven on a daily basis to take
the kids to school. This truck has never been used for work, or to haul heavy
trailers across the country and has never been 4-wheeling/off-road. We have
impeccably maintained, and garaged our family car.....hence, the extra-fine
looks. This Heavy Duty truck is in great condition inside and outside and has
proven to be 100% reliable! The truck has never been towed or broken down (not
even a flat tire! ...original spare is unused, with the sticker attached). The
engine runs super strong with no problems, and sounds as though it just came
off the showroom floor - with a little extra UMPH with the Banks Stainless
Steel exhaust system. The transmission performs great, shifting through all
gears smoothly, and has a trans cooler for those heavy duty applications when
needed. Fluids are tight and all maintenance has been completed ahead of
schedule and done meticulously. Underneath, this truck is clean and dry, with
many of the factory stickers still attached. The suspension is very tight as it
should be, and is noise-free. Our family vehicle rides and drives smoothly, as
the tires are continuously balanced, and the front-end aligned. All the power
equipment and gauges work perfect. The exterior color is in great condition
with no major scratches, dents in the body or damage, as the title is clean
(AutoCheck report confirms this, and they back it up BuyBack Protection). Note:
there is a slight variation in the paint above the rear-wheels and some minor
dents in the rear chrome bumper (none of which effect the integrity of the
vehicle) The 6' 4" bed is in excellent condition, as it has had the 'camper top' on
since Day 1, never removed and has a Ram bed-liner to protect it even more. The
paint is super shiny and clear (except above noted). Overall this truck looks
great and sharp like as the pictures show (cannot see the paint flaw in the
pictures. The interior has been well taken care of, and shows in excellent
condition with no sign of abuse, only TLC. Every thing looks fresh and clean
inside as well as outside this Heavy Duty truck. The leather seats, headliner,
and door panels look great, with little or minimal signs of wear. The carpet is
stain-free and it is super clean, as there is custom floor coverings and mats to
cover the carpeting. Don't miss this chance to own this beautiful, 100%
reliable truck.

Man hits 153 mph on I-75 in Dodge Magnum
Tue, May 19 2015A man driving in Michigan took his 2005 Dodge Magnum practically to the limit in the wee hours of the morning on May 19 when the Michigan State Police caught him on radar going 153 miles per hour on Interstate 75 near Detroit. The 21-year-old driver was spotted around 3:00 AM, according to The Detroit News. Michigan State Police First Lieutenant Michael Shaw told Autoblog that officers initially saw the man on radar doing 79 mph in a 70-mph-zone, and they started following him. He eventually clocked 153 mph. However, First Lt. Shaw was clear that there was never a pursuit. "Speeding isn't necessarily a reason to put the public at risk," he said. The situation ended rather abruptly, though. The driver pulled off the interstate and behind a building. He remained in the vehicle, and police arrived and arrested him. According to First Lt. Shaw, the man was driving home from work and alcohol wasn't a factor. The Magnum has been impounded, and the driver was charged with reckless driving. Unfortunately, First Lt. Shaw said that he didn't know what engine was in the wagon, but as enthusiasts, we're curious. After all, the 2005 Magnum RT was governed to 130 mph and the SRT8 wasn't unleashed until 2006, which means either the wagon must've been derestricted to hit such high speeds or that police have the year wrong. We'll let you know if we figure that one out...
