You are bidding on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 sport model, 2 WD pickup truck. This particular truck has the 24 valve high output Cummins diesel engine. I have a superchip that you can install and remove to reprogram your computer from high performance to performance towing to regular towing and back to stock. The truck has 4" exhaust the whole way back.  It has an am/fm stereo with single CD player with awesome sound, fold down - flip up rear seat, 4 doors, driver power seat, passenger seat is manual. The interior is in above average condition, no tears anywhere. There are no wear or tears in the carpets. Vehicle has not been smoked in. The center arm rest can flip up for an additional person to sit in the front. The passenger airbag can be turned off.  There are some cracks in top of dashboard that are not real bad, but wanted to mention it. The passenger window works slow, sometimes it needs help. I am assuming it needs a motor, but I just leave it up. The driver's window works perfect. The overhead ceiling is in perfect condition. The truck has adjustable towing mirrors. It is equipped with a towing brake control and class 3 hitch. Also comes equipped with a pickup camper, tie-down system - frame mounted, which can be removed if you want. It has full length running boards. The truck shows signs of slight surface rust a couple of little places on the rocker panels, but it is not through. There is one small dent in the bottom center of the tailgate. The truck has an 8' bed with a rubber bed liner and also a rubber tailgate liner. It is equipped with a fuel pressure meter guage on the steering column to watch fuel pressure (see photo). It is serviced regularly and I use Shell Rotella oil. The automatic transmission oil and filter is changed annually. The transmission is a 4-speed overdrive. The transmission shifts tight and smoothe in all gears, however, I want to be honest and say that sometimes in overdrive, it feels like the overdrive chatters , and then goes away. The truck is equipped with 265/75/16 12-ply tires. Tires are roughly 50% . It has aluminum alloy wheels. In the past 6 months I had ball joints installed in the front, calipers, rotors and brakes all around. I also replaced brake fluid lines. The truck is very, very reliable. I had this truck for 5 years. I bought it with roughly 60,000 miles on it and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. I had a 5500 lb. truck camper on the back occassionally and while driving, you could hardly tell it was back there, as far as power, etc. The truck is currently PA inspected until 5/2013. I don't think it will take anything because I just had it all done last inspection. The paint on the truck is very nice and shiny, no peeling or clear coat coming off anywhere. I don't do much towing with it. I have pulled a couple trailers with it at 12,000 lbs. and the truck pulled that with ease, no problem. The only reason I am selling this truck is I no longer have a truck camper and don't need a heavy duty truck. This truck will make someone a great towing vehicle. In the photos it shows the carpet is dirty, however, I am going to have the truck cleaned up before it is sold. Any questions, please call 717-471-9111, George

Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."
