HERE is an IMMACULATE TRUCK that I recently purchased from the Original Owner.  This has been a CALIF truck since New.  If you are a "Second Gen" fan you will appreciate this truck!!!!!!  It has never had a "Chip" or any Heavy Duty Hitches, Trailer Brakes etc.  The Factory Towing Wire kit for plugging into the factory harness is still in the Glove Box. It had a CAMPER SHELL most of it's life and there is some Paint damage around the back of the cab where the rubber seal rested and a small dent in the rear bumper..   Other than that ---- Check the pictures of the "DASH---IT'S PERFECT"---  and that is the original bedliner.  You can see the part numbers on the springs. The Grill?  PERFECT!!   (Oh and by the way the Factory radio Balance Toggle works like new)   NEW 10 ply tires were installed @ 67,277 miles.  I received a full packet of service records ( Mostly done at the "Dealer") along with the Factory Service Manuals.  Extra's include a Viper Alarm and a back-up warning beeper.  I was going to downsize from my 04 Ram 3500 4x4 Diesel but changed my mind due to the size of my Slide in Camper.  It hurts to part with this 1998.

Be sure to ask any questions before BIDDING--DON"T ASSUME OR READ BETWEEN THE LINES---ASK!!!  The Sale/Purchase is FINAL --no returns.  Let me know if you want more pictures or details.  If you want to have someone inspect the truck I will make it available for them to do so.

PICK UP or SHIPPING arrangements are up to the Buyer.  If you want to FLY into Phoenix I will pick you up and you can drive it home with confidence.  I did and it's a dream to drive. Payment by a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 Hours of Auction End and the Balance within 7 days. Bank wire transfer or Cash will be accepted for the Balance.

I reserve the right to end this Auction Early as the truck is listed for sale locally.

GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!

Chrysler extending production of current Dodge Avenger, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Caravan

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Are you hesitant to pull the trigger on a brand new Dodge Avenger in hopes that a new one will be coming? Well, don't hold your breath. According to The Detroit News, Chrysler will be extending production of the current Avenger sedan through the end of 2015.
Originally, we heard that the company would kill the Avenger to better focus its midsize sedan efforts on the Chrysler 200 replacement. But then new reports stated there would indeed be an Avenger successor, and that we could see it as early as next January. This Detroit News report cites supplier sources confirming the extension of Avenger production, though Chrysler has not released an official statement on the matter.
These same suppliers say that the current Jeep Wrangler will live on through mid-2018 - that's right, another five years. The Detroit News reports that a replacement for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep was due in mid-2016.

Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue. Chrysler recalling 700k minivans and Dodge Journey for ignition switch woes

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

General Motors isn't the only automaker with ignition switch problems. Chrysler is fighting it too and is now announcing a recall of 695,957 examples worldwide of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2008-2010 model years, plus the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey.
According to a statement from Chrysler, the models have a bad wireless ignition node detent ring in the ignition switch, making it possible for drivers to appear to have the key in the "Run" position but for the spring not to fully engage. It can then slip back to the "Accessory" position and shut the car off. If this happens, the vehicle loses power steering, brake boost and the airbags.
There is some disparity about the number of vehicles affected under this recall. In its statement, Chrysler claims that it covers 525,206 vehicles in the US, 102,892 in Canada, 25,591 in Mexico and 42,268 elsewhere. However, the recall announcement posted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration lists an estimated 438,109 vehicles in the US. Chrysler spokesperson Nick Cappa told Autoblog via email that the reasoning for the different figures "will become clear at a later date."
