SUSPENSION IS ADJUSTABLE AS FAR AS RIDE HIGHTH, IT CAN BE CHANGED FROM ABOUT 18" OF LIFT TO 24" JUST BY CHANGING AIR PRESSURE IN THE BAGS, OR YOU CAN REMOVE SPACERS TO LOWER TO JUST 10" OF LIFT. I HAVE IT PICTURED AT ABOUT 20" OF LIFT AND THATS HOW I BEEN DRIVEING IT. THE STEERING AND TRACK BAR IS FULLY ADJUSTABLE FOR SEVERE RIDE HIGHTH ADJUSTMENT AND ARE BRAND NEW. THE MOTOR IS A COMPLETLY FRESH 1998 CUMMINS 12 VALVE P-PUMP WITH A BRAND NEW 125 HP DDP INJECTORS, HX40 TURBO, ALL NEW SEALS, GASKETS, RINGS, BEARINGS ETC. TRANSMISSION IS ALSO FRESH WITH ALL NEW CLUTCH'S, GEARS, SHIFT KIT, TRIPPLE LOCK TORQUE CONVERTER, ETC. BOTH MOTOR AND TRANS ARE BRAND NEW JUST BUILT HERE AT PRECISION DIESEL SERVICE INC. I WOULD RATE THE INTERIOR A 91/2 OUT OF 10 AND THE EXTERIOR A 7 OUT OF 10. EXHAUST IS ALL FOUR INCH FROM TURBO TO A LOW PROFILE STACK BOX AND INTO 6" MBRP STAINLESS STACKS. FUEL SYSTEM IS FASS 125 GPH SINGLE FILTER/ WATER SEPERATOR. ITS BEEN RAINING HERE SO I DID MOST PICS IN THE SHOP. THE OUT DOOR PICS MY WIFE HAD TAKEN AFTER I DROVE IT HOME FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHEN THE RAIN STOPS I WILL TAKE A VIDEO FROM IN THE CAB WHILE DRIVEING IT DOWN THE ROAD TO SHOW HOW WELL IT DRIVES. Chrysler recalling 67k trucks with manual transmissions

Earlier this month, Chrysler announced the recall of some 280,000 pickup trucks over concerns that their axles could seize up. Now the automaker has announced an entirely separate recall of another 66,819 trucks over the springs that could break in the clutch ignition interlock switch. The recall affects Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups, as well as the Dodge Dakota and Mitsubishi Raider. The issue is relevant only to those trucks fitted with manual transmissions, from the 2006 and 2007 model years and manufactured between July 1, 2005, and July 31, 2006. Since a broken spring could, according to statements issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and FCA US LLC (previously known as the Chrysler Group) prevent the vehicle from starting, or cause it to move unintentionally once the ignition kicks over, the automaker will begin notifying owners of the affected vehicles just before Valentine's Day to bring their trucks into their local dealers to have the clutch ignition interlock switch replaced. FCA emphasizes, however, that the unintended movement would only occur "in rare cases" and only "if recommended starting procedures are not followed." Only one such case is known to have occurred, but it did regrettably result in a fatality. Statement: Clutch Ignition Interlock Switch December 29, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is launching a voluntary global recall of an estimated 66,819 older-model pickup trucks equipped with manual transmissions. The Company will replace their clutch ignition interlock switches at no charge to customers. An investigation by FCA US engineers discovered switches in certain model-year 2006 and 2007 pickups may be equipped with spring wire that differs from wire used in previous switches. The alternate wire may break and, as a result, the vehicles may not start. In rare cases, a vehicle may – if recommended starting procedures are not followed – exhibit unintended movement when its ignition key is turned. The Company is aware of one fatality related to this campaign. It stemmed from the single known accident involving this population of vehicles. The recall covers certain Dodge Dakota, Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 and Mitsubishi Raider pickups. Switches with the alternate wire were not used in any vehicles produced before July of 2005, or after June of 2006. The Dakota and Raider are no longer in production.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.

Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways

Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology.
