1996 dodge ext. cab 2wd flatbed with the best cummins ever made the 12 valve with the bosh pump. $5200 in recent motor work less then 12000 miles ago New injection pump, injectors, starter, brakes, and rear shocks. Many more new parts Last december I had the auto transmission rebuild less then 10,000 miles ago ac works but does have a slow leak sumwhere you can charge it at the first of the summer and it works rest of the summer. Runs great I put the flatbed on last december before that time it had never had a 5th wheel hitch. The body is in good shape no big dents or dings and no rust I repainted the top Black it was gray and maroon and the gray was all comen off. The inside dash has a crack in it but really no as bad as most dodges Ive seen. Runs drives very nice and starts right up even in very cold weather. It has 187000 miles on it. The title reads I belive 210000 I had my dad get the tags and title for me while I was at work and instead of calln me to ask the current milage he guessed. The diesel mechanic I had do the motor work said the motor looked like it had barely been used and Figured it would last many more yrs and 100 thousands of miles. I had a 1997 with 380000 on it when I sold it still running great. We moved further out in the country and its our only 2wd or It would not be for sale. Chrysler recalling 31k SUVs and vans
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Chrysler is issuing recalls covering roughly 31,700 vehicles worldwide due to two separate problems. In both cases the company believes that most of the affected vehicles are either still on, or in transit to, dealer lots.
One recall covers roughly 10,700 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT models from the 2014 model year built between January 16 and April 17, 2014. The SUVs need a software update for the cruise control. It's possible that when the cruise is on and the driver presses on the throttle, the acceleration could last a second after the pedal is released or two seconds for the SRT. Afterward, they return to the speed originally set by the driver.
Chrysler says it isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or even reported incidents of this happening in the real world. Also, in all cases, if the driver presses on the brake, the cruise shuts off. The automaker believes that there are about 6,100 affected SUVs in the US, 950 in Canada, 425 in Mexico and 3,200 outside of North America. The software upgrade will be ready shortly, the company says.

I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.
Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China
Wed, Apr 29 2015Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:
