1994 Dodge with the early Cummins motor. Automatic transmission which was completely rebuilt at 240,000 miles. The injection pump, injectors, and fuel lines were rebuilt at approximately 275,000 miles. I have paper work for the pump and injectors but do not have any for the transmission since it is out of warranty. I added the Hillsboro flatbed with a fifth wheel hitch 4 years ago. I sold the box so you basically, what you see is what you get. The flatbed was brand new when it was installed. The truck was originally green and grey, and had the cabe repainted Candy Apple Red when I installed the flatbed. The paint is is pretty good shape. There are a few spots that are peeling and a few scratches. The rocker panels need to be redone! Cab corners should be redone too but they are not as bad as the rockers. I added 18" wheels to the truck when it was redone. It is currently sitting on 285/60R18 Nitto tires with V-Tech wheels. The wheels were new when the work was done 4 years ago. Currently, the rear tires have approximately 500 miles on them, with the front tires at about 40%.The factory wheels have been sold. There is one center cap missing from the rear left wheel. As far as the interior, it is fully equipped with tilt, cruise, air, power windows, power locks, am/fm cassette radio. The radio is out and I am sure the AC could use some work. I had the seat rebuilt when the transmission was redone.
The truck is far from new! The Injection pump and injectors were $3500 and the Transmission work was $2300. I have bought a newer Duramax now so I no longer need this truck. Just hoping to cash out from the major repairs.
Local pickup only. I am located in SW/MN approximately 100 miles east of Sioux Falls SD right off I-90. I will be more than happy to store the truck, inside, for up to 6 months, BUT it must be paid for within 7 days of auction end. AND PLEASE........IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY.......DONT BID. Thank you! Feel free to call me with any questions at 507-840-1813

2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment
Fri, 15 Feb 2013As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.
Dodge shows can-do attitude with grand Can'avan sculpture
Fri, 01 Nov 2013There are lots of ways to celebrate an important birthday, and all of them are well deserved. You can throw a big party, buy yourself something nice, or - if you're the altruistic type - do something for others in need. The latter is how Chrysler has opted to mark the 30th anniversary of its Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Together with hunger-advocacy organization Canstruction, the Chrysler Foundation has built a full-scale replica of the Grand Caravan out of 30,000 food cans in the square at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, a ways down the highway from where the real vans are built in Windsor. The sculpture was built over the course of 10 hours by 30 volunteers and was displayed earlier this week.
Now the installation is being taken down, and the cans of food are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which will assemble them into 2,000 food baskets to be distributed to those in need through its network of 200 food banks across the Canadian metropolis. Check out a neat time-lapse video of the build and the press release below.
