1992 DOGE RAM 2500 4X4 5.9 CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL.  Stock except a Denny T Fuel Pin.  5 Speed with newer South Bend Clutch.  Lock In/Out Hubs, 4 Wheel Drive Works Great, 3.73 Gears, 285/65/16 Tires on Aluminum Wheels are Like New, Good Brakes, Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors.  A/C and Heat both work great.  4" Straight Exhaust, Pyrometer, Tachometer, Boost Gauges, Delay Wipers, All Newer U Joints including Axle Joints.  This truck gets unbelievable Miles Per Gallon.  Floor Boards and Cab Mounts in Very Good Condition, minimal rust, very nice shape but does need some minor attention such as; cruise control & power locks are not working, e-brake assembly needs replaced (foot pedal and cable), one fuel tank strap is broke, driver seat is torn (seat is from an 85 so it slides back farther for more leg room), no headliner, passenger fender and hood are mismatched, driver side rocker has a rust hole and passenger bed side above wheel well has rust, dent in cab corner and bed on passenger side, slight injector miss when under throttle.

PA State Inspected until 9/13 and I have a rust free front clip, good solid bed and a brand new Lund fiberglass sun visor that goes with the truck.  Truck is driven (minimally) so mileage can change.

Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways

Sat, Feb 7 2015

Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology. The results weren't exactly as we'd predicted, but we had fun all the same. Get one more dose of your cop car fix, above.

Chrysler recalling 700k minivans and Dodge Journey for ignition switch woes

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

General Motors isn't the only automaker with ignition switch problems. Chrysler is fighting it too and is now announcing a recall of 695,957 examples worldwide of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2008-2010 model years, plus the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey.
According to a statement from Chrysler, the models have a bad wireless ignition node detent ring in the ignition switch, making it possible for drivers to appear to have the key in the "Run" position but for the spring not to fully engage. It can then slip back to the "Accessory" position and shut the car off. If this happens, the vehicle loses power steering, brake boost and the airbags.
There is some disparity about the number of vehicles affected under this recall. In its statement, Chrysler claims that it covers 525,206 vehicles in the US, 102,892 in Canada, 25,591 in Mexico and 42,268 elsewhere. However, the recall announcement posted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration lists an estimated 438,109 vehicles in the US. Chrysler spokesperson Nick Cappa told Autoblog via email that the reasoning for the different figures "will become clear at a later date."

Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
