Lilburn, Georgia, United States

Posted for Sale, is my best friends 2006 Dodge 2500 SLT truck. It is equipped with the 5.9 Cummins turbo diesel, which also has a nice MBRP Exhaust, and new AFE cold air intake, which helps this thing breath nicely, and it just sounds awesome! It only has 83,000 miles and never been wrecked. The diesel engine is just getting started at this point. Transmission and differential are smooth with no issues. There are no oil/fluid leaks from any of the power train or drive train. It is equipped with a Fabtech 8 inch lift kit/suspension. It has a factory bed liner with a very nice black toneau cover to keep things dry in the back if needed. It sits on 18"XD Black Addict wheels W/ 38" Toyo Open Country 38" tires. Two tires at 7/32, and other two at 4/32, so there will be a need for two tires in the future. The exterior literally has 2 dents that are located at the passenger rear cab/ bed area low on the panel, THE PASS R DOOR has been removed, it does not have the large dent anymore. The rest of the exterior is in great shape, the white paint is glossy, and he just put a new coat of wax this winter. Headlights and Fog lights are equipped with HID headlights, which give you full view of the road ahead at night. Truck has the rear manual slide window, great to let vent while your driving on the highway or if you just need to open to access the rear. Factory Tow Mirrors for adjustable when having to tow, and factory tow hitch package.

The interior is the gray cloth, I do not have pictures of that but will post up very soon to give you an idea, but it is also clean, no rips or tears in seats, It has a three gauge pod that provides readings on Boost, EGT, and Trans Temp., which are also tied into accent with your cluster lighting so you can see them at night as well. Factory CD/Radio system.

He originally purchased this big boy as his new fun toy, however he is expecting his child very soon, and while there is 4 doors, it does not really accommodate for a baby seat and child, especially as high as it is. Considering he has to work a lot and is close to having his child, I am putting up the sale for him, if there are any questions that I do not know the answer to, I will ask him and get back to anyone if needed. This is a gorgeous truck, and if I didn't already have one of my own, I probably would have bought this already. Feel free to email for inquiries or questions.

Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.

8 things you learn while driving a cop car [w/videos]

Tue, Jan 27 2015

Let me start off with the obvious: it is absolutely illegal to impersonate a police officer. And now that that's out of the way, I'd just like to say that driving a cop car is really, really cool. Here's the background to this story: Dodge unveiled its redesigned 2015 Charger Pursuit police cruiser, and kindly allowed Autoblog to test it. That meant fellow senior editor Seyth Miersma and I would spend a week with the cop car, and the goal here was to see just how different the behind-the-wheel experience is, from a civilian's point of view. After all, it's not technically a police car – it isn't affiliated with any city, it doesn't say "police" anywhere on it, and it's been fitted with buzzkill-worthy "NOT IN SERVICE" magnets (easily removed for photos, of course). But that meant nothing. As Seyth and I found out after our week of testing, most people can't tell the difference, and the Charger Pursuit commands all the same reactions as any normal cop car would on the road. Here are a few things we noticed during our time as wannabe cops. 1. You Drive In A Bubble On The Highway Forget for a moment that our cruiser was liveried with Dodge markings instead of those of the highway patrol. Ignore the large "NOT IN SERVICE" signs adhered around the car. Something in the lizard brain of just about every licensed driver tells them to hold back when they see any hint of a cop car, or just the silhouette of a light bar on a marked sedan. Hence, when driving on the highway, and especially when one already has some distance from cars forward and aft, a sort of bubble of fear starts to open up around you. Cars just ahead seem very reluctant to pass one another or change lanes much, while those behind wait to move up on you until there's a full herd movement to do so. The effect isn't perfect – which is probably ascribable to the aforementioned giveaways that I'm not really a cop – but it did occur on several occasions during commutes from the office. 2. You Drive In A Pack In The City My commute home from the Autoblog office normally takes anywhere from 25 to 30 minutes, and it's a straight shot down Woodward Avenue from Detroit's north suburbs into the city, where I live. Traffic usually moves at a steady pace, the Michigan-spec "five-over" speed.

Fiat Chrysler CEO says final merger talks with Peugeot going well

Thu, Jan 23 2020

BRUSSELS — Fiat Chrysler's chief executive Michael Manley said on Wednesday that merger talks with Peugeot owner PSA  to create the world's No. 4 carmaker are progressing well and he hopes to have a deal within 12-14 months. Speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of an industry meeting, he said he doesn't expect any major obstacles that could delay a final agreement. "Talks are progressing really well," Manley said about negotiations with the French carmaker ahead of a briefing by the European automotive association (ACEA), of which he is president. His comments come a month after the two carmakers agreed to a binding deal worth about $50 billion to combine forces in response to a slowdown in global demand and mounting costs of making cleaner vehicles amid tighter emissions regulations. Manley's timeline for completing the deal by early 2021 is in line with a forecast made by the companies in December. Fiat and Peugeot are now getting into the details of how the merger will work, including choosing which vehicle platforms — the technological underpinnings of a vehicle — will fit which products in a combined company. Because customers in different locations still prefer vastly different cars, there is room for multiple platforms in a combined group, Manley said. "That global platform is an elusive beast," he added. "This concept of a massive global platform in my mind is almost a myth, but that doesnÂ’t mean to say weÂ’re not going to recruit significant volume." Related Video:   Â
