Great 4x4 work Truck. It has been driven but well taken care of with scheduled oil changes and mantence changes per Dodge recomendations.
A few outside dings and apostry corners are beginning to tater but is in very good shape for a 1999. The Crew Cab provides extra people hauling capicity owned and driven by an adult only. The added front grill gard, Stock Rack in the back bed, Back Bed handles and the side steps are all included of courseif the new buyer wants them at no charge. The 1/2 worn tires are mounted on special rims. There is a new battery in the truck for cold morning starting. Currently it will not pass emmision due to the muffler. Thesre is a sliding back window in this truck although it was seldom used. Even with 240,000 miles it is a dream to drive because of the great care it recieved durring those miles. Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets

The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.

Want to get your hands on a new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and can't wait to be the first to get one? Las Vegas will be the place to be on September 27. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
