Here's the background on the truck before I go into all the goods.  The first owner lived in Tulsa, OK and drove back and forth to Springfield, MO to go to school like 3 days a week.  The first 100,000 miles are 90% interstate miles.  The reason it has a PRIOR salvage title is because she was in the back DOOR.  The only thing that had to be replaced is THE DOOR and we had to do a little dent repair at the back of the cab.  We are the 2nd owners of the truck.  It has been as reliable as the sun.  Never no problems with how it drives or performs and never any issues or lights or anything coming on to indicate any issue.  We drive it daily and wouldn't be scared to drive across country.

Now, for all the good stuff.  This truck has the hemi engine, 4 doors, oversized 20' wheels, and is 4 wheel drive.  It has the tow package with hitch, tow mirrors, and bedliner.  It also has a 6 disc changer and power drivers seat.  The seats have always been covered so they have no rips or tears, but they aren't in perfect condition as the previous driver didn't have covers.  All these extras have been added over the last year:

Halo Headlights

Chrome Bull guard with extra blue fog lights

Flowmaster Dual Exhaust

Spectre Cold Air Intake

All chrome covers: fuel door, brake light, mirrors, windshield wipers, door handles, etc...

Beneath the seat sub box with 2 10" sub woofers and sony amp

I have hood scoops for it, but I haven't ever got them put on.  Will include them if you want them.

All 4 tires were replaced at the end of summer 2012.  This truck isn't new.  It has some scratches and a ding or 2, but no major dents or anything.  If you get close enough, you can see a little blemish in the paint from the new door b/c the whole truck wasn't repainted.  It looks fine unless you are right up on it.  It gets looks wherever it goes.  It would make a great, loaded truck, for a reasonable price. We are smoke free and the previous owner was a non-smoker so no nasty smells. The truck is paid for and there are no issues known.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Dodge Viper saved from crusher by students, but will it last?

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

The saga of the Washington state community college hoping to keep its allegedly pre-production Dodge Viper out of the maw of the crusher is going strong. Not only does the school still have the car, but there's a chance that the college might even get to keep it.
The whole situation flared up in March when the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA, received a notice from Chrysler Group that requested that the school's Viper be destroyed. The automaker had loaned the muscle car to it about a decade ago to use for educational purposes in its auto tech classes. With the Dodge growing long in the tooth, "it is unlikely that these vehicles offer any educational value to students," the company said in its press release on the matter.
However, the college balked at destroying its Viper, despite the fact it had signed a contract with Chrysler Group to do so. The school further claimed that its car was incredibly special because it was a pre-production example and just the fourth one made back in 1992. Although, as we pointed out at the time, the photos of the school's vehicle showed a coupe that looked like a newer Viper GTS.

Diesel Power finds the ultimate modified oil-burner

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

For nine years, Diesel Power magazine has run the Diesel Power Challenge, this year's grindfest being "a week-long torture test that features seven events, nine trucks, 8,000 horsepower, and nearly 15,000 pound-feet of torque." The road to being crowned "the most powerful truck" starts with a dyno run, and then continues through the completion of a CDL-style obstacle course, an eighth-of-a-mile drag race while towing a 10,000-pound trailer, a quarter-mile drag race without a trailer, a fuel economy test in the mountains and finally a sled-pulling test through a 300-foot-long packed-mud pit.
What kind of trucks get into such a fight? Last year's winner, for instance - who upgraded his truck this year to prove he didn't "luck into the win" - drives a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.4-liter Power Stroke V8 upgraded with a custom intake, Elite Diesel triple turbos and a two-stage nitrous system. Another competitor has a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins inline-six, upgraded with Garrett turbos, dual-stage nitrous, a seven-inch exhaust stack and twin fans built into the bed to cool the Sun Coast Omega transmission. The numbers on that truck: 1,255 horsepower, and 2,063 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. Naturally, as the image above might suggest, things don't always end well.
You'll find all five videos covering this years challenge below. A scene in the dyno video sums it all up perfectly: a competitor leaves his nitrous on too long and the crew is treated to some ominous poppings, he leans out the window, throws both hands up and shouts, "Amer'ca!"

Will Dodge limit 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat to 1,200 units?

Sun, 20 Jul 2014

With over 700 horsepower on tap and a price tag barely over $60k, Dodge appears on paper to have a winner on its hands with the new Challenger SRT Hellcat. But if you want to get your hands on one, you may have to act quicker than this most powerful of muscle cars covers the quarter-mile.
That's because, according to our compatriots over at Edmunds, Dodge may limit production - in the first year, at least - to just 1,200 units. That would amount to barely a quarter of the Challengers that Dodge moves each month, and would also mean only one Hellcat for every two Dodge dealers in the US - which could lead to some serious contention over which stores and which customers can get their hands on the ultimate Challenger.
Reached for comment, SRT spokesman Dan Reid told Autoblog that "there is no plan to limit production of the Challenger Hellcat," echoing the words of Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis who told Edmunds: "We don't know what the market demand is." Which doesn't mean that it won't restrict production, but doesn't mean that it will, either. It just hasn't decided yet - or announced any such decision, at any rate - over what will be the final allocation strategy for what could be a game-changing muscle car. That is, at least, until new versions of the Mustang and Camaro come along in pursuit of Dodge's bragging rights...
