I am looking to sell my truck. I do love it, but just took a traveling job and will not be able to use her. She is in excellent condition, there are only a couple of minor scratches on it. I have just about every option I could get for it. I haven't owned a better truck. It currently has 39,500 miles on it, but is my daily driver so this will change.

There is absolutely nothing wrong mechanically. The interior is in excellent shape. The leather is all in great condition. I am a non smoker and I love this truck. The exterior has a few only scratches on the back bumper (see pictures) and a minor scratch on the passenger rear door (i was told it will buff out just have been too busy these last couple of weeks), It has never been in the shop for anything but a recall for not having a light in the glove box (I was as surprised on that recall as you are but had them put it in anyhow).  Two tires are about half life and the other two are due to be changed in the next couple of months.Everything on it is factory. I have not done any tweaking to it.

I have a lot more pictures, Don't hesitate to ask if you want to see something in particular.

KBB has this truck at $34,000 from the dealer and you can get is at a much better price.

I got a trade in quote from the dealer today and am just looking to see if I can do any better. The reserve is what I will get for a trade in. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I sold my Viper, but the memories I'll keep

Thu, 30 May 2013

The following is written by auto industry veteran Tow Kowaleski. The words are his own, but the memories now belong to everyone thanks to his willingness to share. If you're an industry veteran with a story to share, contact us at tipsATautoblogDOTcom.
It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.

Cruiser's close call caught on camera

Mon, Dec 21 2015

A new recruit to the Kansas Highway Patrol experienced his first brush with danger on his first day when a semi truck clipped his cruiser during a traffic stop last week. Public relations officer Tod Hileman said in a Facebook post that the incident occurred when an officer and his brand-new trainee pulled over a black Dodge Charger on I-70 in Trego County, Kansas. Hileman said in the comments that the cruiser was parked two feet away from the white line on the shoulder. Not only did the driver not get over a lane when he saw the stopped cruiser per Kansas law, he seemed to have moved closer to the side of the road. The big rig managed to send the cruiser's side mirror and spotlight flying across the road. The truck could have easily injured one of the officers, perhaps fatally. The truck driver ignored Kansas' Move Over law, which requires "drivers approaching a stationary emergency vehicle displaying flashing lights, including towing and recovery vehicles, traveling in the same direction, to vacate the lane closest if safe and possible to do so, or slow to a speed safe for road, weather, and traffic conditions." With a clear lane to his left the trucker in this case had no excuse. He stopped after the crash and was cited by the officers for failing to change lanes when he saw the stopped vehicles. Being a cop is a risky job. So far this year, 28 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty due to car accidents, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...
