This rare truck is in excellent condition! Unfortunately, I do not have room for the truck any longer which forces the sale. The truck is garage kept and extremely well maintained. I purchased the truck from a local Chrysler dealership when it was less then a year old. The truck had 15,000 miles on it when I purchased it and was driven by a Chrysler Executive, also known as a program vehicle. I am the first one to register the truck. I have used Mobile one synthetic oil as well as factory Mopar Oil Filters for every oil change. The transmission was recently flushed and refilled with Valvoline synthetic transmission fluid. The truck was undercoated when it was new, the frame and undercarriage has been maintained accordingly. The seats have been covered with factory Mopar seat covers since new. If you remove the covers, the seats are as good as brand new. The front floor has been covered with Weathertech floor liners since new. The rear floor has a factory embroidered floor mat which is protected by rubber dodge floor mats. I have the original factory Mopar Daytona floor mats which have never been used and are in the original factory Mopar cardboard box. The truck is equipped with factory navigation and XM satellite radio. This was a rare option not found in many Daytona Trucks. I upgraded the speakers to the Kicker factory option that was offered in the SRT 10 pickup truck. This upgrade includes Kicker titanium speakers in the doors and dashboard. A 10 inch kicker sub is mounted under the driver side rear seat as may be seen in one of the included photographs. The amp for said sub is integrated under the driver side dashboard. All of the aforementioned speakers are a factory Mopar Option which means that they are plug and play and meant for the truck. (No hacking here!) The sound system is Awesome! Crystal Clear! Additional upgrades to the truck include but are not limited to the following: The headlights were upgraded to Phillips HID bulbs and ballasts, A K & N fuel injection kit (intake) was installed, the truck has the factory Borla exhaust System, the windows are tined with AVS rain guards installed, the truck has the factory Mopar bedliner etc. All of the original owners manuals are present. If you are looking for a truck, this is the truck to buy! If you are not aware, The Ram Daytona was a limited production truck which includes a number placard in the dashboard. The truck was tuned up (new factory spark plugs etc.) at 55,000 miles. The truck is sold as is where is. If you have any additional questions, please call 845.629.8313. Thanks for looking!

How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer
Sun, 16 Nov 2014Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.
Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
2013 Dodge Dart gets brace of new special edition models
Thu, 16 May 2013After almost a year on the market it, it is becoming more clear to Dodge how customers like to option out their Darts, so the automaker has combined popular features into three special edition packages and sweetened the prices. Start with a standard 2013 Dart and add either the SXT or Limited "Special Editions" or Rallye Appearance Group, and you'll save yourself a lot of box checking.
The $595 Dart SXT Special Edition takes the trim just above the base model and adds a new grille, dark-tinted headlights and projector fog lights, LED racetrack taillights, cruise control and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Limited Special Edition starts with the top-end model and adds a power sunroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and Nappa leather seats among other features, for $1,810.
The Rallye Appearance Group (pictured) is a package for the SXT, and it blacks out the front fascia, throws on 17-inch wheels and some badging for $395. The new special editions are reaching dealers now and could help the Dart's sales to further improve after a slow start. You can find out more about them in the press release below.
