THE TRUCK DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD VERY WELL WITHOUT ANY VIBRATIONS AND APPEARS TO BE ALIGNED PROPERLY. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS CRISPLY AND WITHOUT FAULTS AND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID APPEARS TO BE RELATIVELY CLEAN. THE OVERALL CURRENT MECHANICAL CONDITION OF THE TRUCK IS GOOD. THE EXTERIOR ON THIS DODGE SHOWS VERY NICE FOR ITS AGE BUT PLEASE EXPECT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR (LIGHT SCRATCHES, DINGS, OR IMPERFECTIONS IN PAINT THAT MAY NOT SHOW UP IN PHOTOS). THE TRUCK'S PAINT IS CUSTOM AND THEREFORE IS NOT A FACTORY COLOR OR QUALITY BUT SHINES VERY NICE! IT HAS 1 SMALL RUST BUBBLE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR WHEEL WELL APPROXIMATELY THE SIZE OF A QUARTER. THE INTERIOR OF THE TRUCK IS VERY CLEAN WITHOUT ANY LARGE STAINS, RIPS OR ODORS. HOWEVER, THERE ARE A FEW MINOR BLEMISHES. THE DRIVERS SIDE SEAT SHOWS LIGHT WEAR FROM GETTING IN AND OUT. THE CENTER CONSOLE ARMREST ALSO SHOWS SOME WEAR FROM GENERAL USE. THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE ANY RUST OR ROT THAT WOULD INTERFERE WITH IT'S DRIVEABILITY OR OUR STATE'S (NH) INSPECTION LAWS.

Auction Terms

We do not charge any documentation fees!  What you bid is what you pay, so bid to win!  Vehicle must be paid for within 7 days of auction end and must be picked up within 14 days of auction end.  Due to the agreement with our landlord, vehicles left over a 14 day period may be subject to a storage charge of $35 per day starting on the 15th day.   If this storage charge will apply to you, you will be given notice prior to storage charges beginning to accrue.  We are usually pretty lenient with this rule, however, there are certain instances when it must be must be enforced (i.e. vehicle still here 2 months after you won). All buyers MUST make a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction end via Paypal.  This is now a requirement on all my vehicle auctions due to the increased amount of NON-PAYING bidders. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this requirement. If we do not have a deposit or contact from the buyer within 24 hours, we reserve the right to sell the vehicle to a back up buyer.  Remaining payment must be cash (in person), wire transfer or cashier’s check. We do not accept Paypal for full payment. In addition, eBay will only allow us to accept Paypal for the deposit and requires we select another method of payment for the balance.  Vehicle is sold AS-IS WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.  We announce any service lights that may be on at the time of inspection for the buyer's information and research only.  We do not troubleshoot or offer any guarantees.  Local bidders are encouraged to make an appointment to view the vehicle. Vehicles may be seen by appointment only!  Auction may end at anytime due to vehicle being sold locally, or if an interested party wants to buy it at the locally advertised price. NO RESERVE so bid early and often!! Due to non-paying bidders, we reserve the right to cancel any bids we suspect to be false. We prefer (0) feedback or new members contact us prior to bidding to confirm their serious interest in a vehicle. If you do not contact prior to bidding, we reserve the right to cancel your bid and request you provide us with contact information so we may contact you. Vehicles and other high dollar items are a very serious commitment. Please only bid if you are prepared to purchase.

Titles & Paperwork

 

You will be required to provide a name and address for the title and bill of sale for transfer of ownership. We do not leave titles blank! This is a violation of Federal Law and dealer license requirements. We also will not falsify a bill of sale by stating a lower purchase price. What you bid is what you pay and that is the amount that will be on your bill of sale. In the interest of consistency, we consider the date of sale to be the date the eBay auction ended, this will be the date listed on your bill of sale.

 

Shipping Terms

 

Shipping arrangements and payments are the buyer's responsibility. Please make your shipping arrangements or get a shipping quote prior to purchasing the vehicle. A word to the wise, please do not rely on the shipping quotes eBay puts on my listing. These are not quoted by me, they are advertisements placed by eBay. Often they are attention grabbing low prices that change after the sale. I recommend confirming the quote with the shipping company that gives it. 

If you plan to ship your vehicle, I will do anything I can to help you or your shipper. The vehicle is at a car dealership/repair facility and we can be very flexible with helping a shipper load the vehicle or arranging a pick up time. If you are having your vehicle shipped and picked up by a transporter they can pick it up 7 days a week as long as I have 24 hours notice. We usually need a days notice so I can make your vehicle accessible and make sure I can have someone meet the driver if I am unable to. I reserve the right to refuse your transporter if they don’t give me sufficient notice.

Due to weight and hazmat requirements, most shippers require vehicles to have less than 1/8th of a tank of fuel in them prior to shipping. Vehicles may be low on fuel at pickup or upon arrival when shipped.

The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.

Stellantis reports record margins, $7B profits despite chip shortage

MILAN — Automaker Stellantis on Tuesday said it achieved faster-than-expected progress on synergies and record margins in its first six months as a combined company, despite suffering 700,000 units in lower production due to interruptions in the semiconductor supply chain. The company — formed from French carmaker Peugeot PSAÂ’s takeover of the Italian-American company Fiat Chrysler — reported net profit of 5.9 billion euros ($7 billion) in the first half of 2021, compared with a loss 813 million euros during the same period a year earlier, which was impacted by the coronavirus restrictions around the globe. Shipments rose 44% to 3.2 million units, while revenues rose 46% to 75 billion euros. “We are very pleased with the speed with which the new team has begun to execute as one company, as Stellantis,Â’Â’ Chief Financial Officer Richard Palmer told reporters. Semiconductor shortages accounted for 200,000 units of production losses in the first quarter and 500,000 in the second quarter. Semiconductors are used more than ever before in new vehicles with electronic features such as Bluetooth connectivity and driver assist, navigation and hybrid electric systems. Stellantis achieved 1.3 billion euros in cost savings in the first half, mostly by sharing investments in new technologies and platforms, which Palmer said was a faster rate than initially forecast. It aims to achieve 80% of the targeted 5 billion in cost savings by 2024. “These synergies allow us to continue to invest in the electrification strategy, which we talk about every day,” Palmer said. Stellantis, which lags competitors in rolling out electric vehicles, plans to launch 21 fully electric or plug-in gas electric hybrid vehicles over the next two years. North American posted record profitability on global sales of Ram trucks and the strong launch of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which was the best-selling plug-in gas electric vehicle in the United States in the second quarter. Stellantis was the market leader in South America and second in Europe. The results were presented on a pro-forma basis, taking into account the performance of each of the carmakers as separate entities during 2020. Chop the top of your new Dodge Viper for $35,000

We have good news, and we have bad news. First, the good: It's now possible to get a brand-new Dodge Viper roadster, which is nice, considering we're in the dead of summer and many of us like wind-in-the-hair motoring. Now, the bad: This is not a factory option from the automaker, instead coming courtesy of an aftermarket company called Prefix Performance, and that means it's going to cost you some serious coin.
Called Medusa, this drop-top Viper was created without the knowledge or consent of Dodge, but that's probably fine because Prefix works with the automaker already for the final preparation of the American supercar, including paint. According to the company, the current, fifth-gen Viper was built with a convertible version in mind, so no chassis strengthening is required. From the looks of the somewhat grainy photos available, the conversion appears of very high quality.
Want one? Well, that means you're going to need to procure a Viper - Prefix has 10 units ready for transformation as it stands - and that's going to cost at the very least $102,485. Then, you'll need to write a check for an additional $35,000 for Prefix to surgically remove the car's roof. Thing is, for that kind of cash, a prospective owner could buy, among other very nice options, a Viper hardtop and a loaded Miata, or a Corvette Stingray convertible and several pockets full of change. Or, perhaps a new Viper hardtop and a used, first-gen Viper convertible?
