2004 Dodge Ram Hemi Sport

41,182 Miles

WOW WHAT A DEAL

Up for sale is my baby...   She's a beauty and a beast....   2004 Dodge Ram hemi Sport with many extras.  It has been pampered and dealer serviced from day one.  I am the original owner.  You can look up the specs but she has about 20 more horsepower over factory because I had a Mopar Air Intake installed.  The truck has 1 visible dent on the tailgate which you can see on the picture below.  It has very minor wear and tear from the road since she was locally driven.  The truck has no mechanical problems and doesn't need any service done to it anytime soon, it is ready to be picked up and driven away.  It is a limited edition sport package, I did remove all emblems and stickers only leaving the Hemi 5.7L up on front and the Dodge head logos on the hood and tailgate.  It comes with a Mopar air intake, 22 inch wheels with Falken Tires with about 90% thread on them, Gaylord Toneau Cover with dual locks and a small wing (cover is showing a bit of wear and tear on the gloss might need to be repainted it is not to bad).  I put Rhino Spray lining on the bed, HID lights with resistors on both the headlights and fog lights, Upgraded the headlights, Smoked tailights with car paint they will not fade and they are not dark enough to make them illegal see picture below,  Truck comes with factory alarm and Lo Jack for satellite detection, Alpine Car sterew with alpine speakers and alpine amplifier, Ipod Connection and tinted windows.  The truck is clean inside out but due to recent financial burden I can not keep my truck anymore.  She has been very good to me and although it hurts I must let her go........

Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.

NHTSA investigating Ram 1500 models for rear differential failure

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and its Ram brand following a number of reports regarding the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. According to 15 consumer complaints, the trucks' rear differential locked up while in other cases, the driveshaft separated at its connection to the diff.
Nearly half of the reports claim the truck was traveling at or above 50 miles per hour, while two consumers reported that the diff lockup/driveshaft separation sent their pickups into a spin. Most troubling, though, is that consumers reported little to no sound indicating there was a problem with their truck.
We reached out to Ram for additional information, such as how many vehicles may be affected or what equipment might be fitted that could cause the issue. Unfortunately, the company wasn't willing to elaborate on specifics.

Why the Charger Hellcat can't be ordered with a manual transmission

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Fans of truly irreverent amounts of horsepower will find lots to love in the form of the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Both of them send 707 ridiculous horsepower to the rear wheels; the only question is whether you want your absurdity delivered with two or four doors. Oh, and whether or not you want the option of a manual transmission.
If you prefer rowing your own gears, the choice is made for you; there is no manual gearbox option available on the Charger Hellcat, or any Charger model at all, for that matter. Wonder why? Well, besides the fact that almost nobody - sorry, clutch fans, but it's true - would choose to buy a Charger with a manual transmission, that is? The answer, according to an industry insider in a post written on Jalopnik's Opposite Lock forum, is the floorpan.
It's probably not a surprise to most of our readers that the Dodge Challenger and Charger share a large portion of their chassis structure, which is codenamed LX at Chrysler, but there are still some significant differences under the skin due to the shorter wheelbase and two-door coupe bodyshell of the Challenger, as opposed to the sedan shape of the Charger. One of the differences is the floorpan, the huge chunk of sheetmetal that makes up the floor of the car and props up such essential items as the car's seats.
