For sale is a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT 10. Its Silver and was #2984 out of 3057, Built 7/8/2004. It is registered with the Viper Truck Club of America and has only 19183 miles.  Im helping my brother sell this and he is the original owner. I have been storing the truck for him for about 2 years.  I was planning on buying it from him but my situation has changed, so with a heavy heart Im putting here for sale. I just registered it in my name for insurance reasons. If you are looking for a nearly perfect version of this truck this is the one.  It drives very well, has never been abused, never in snow or ice, and I think its only been wet less than 10 times. The paint and exterior is almost perfect.  There are only a couple very small scratches in the paint, and to be honest, I have a hard time finding them.  The interior is almost perfect as well with a few minor cosmetic issues.  It has a dvd player mounted in the open box area below the radio, however, I have an extra storage box to replace that if you wanted to.  It is nice having the DVD player for loner trips..:) It also has a mount for an XM radio installed.  All of this is very professionally done and doesn't distract from the beauty of the truck.

I have all the original documentation for the truck including the window sticker and all the other assembly line orders and other misc paper associated with the build.  I also have a binder with all the advertising, car magazines reviews, and dealer advertising.  I also have a document from ford about how to make the Lighting Truck look better so they could sell more of their trucks...but it really just points out how much better the viper is!!..Funny...I have all of the wing connection materials including the bag, brackets and nut driver.

As I said I was planning on buying this myself so I had the following work done (All by a Viper Tech at Safford Dodge, in Springfield, VA):  New Spec Stage 1 Clutch, Pilot Bearing, Hydraulic Throw out bearing with new fluid, Brake System flushed, Cooling system flushed, upper and lower radiator hoses, new heater hoses, new serpentine belt, and had all four tires rotated and balanced.  When I picked up the truck the tech said everything else looked great and he had never seen a 2004 that looked so good. Just FYI I wasn't having any problems with the truck, I just was getting it ready to put lots of miles on it.  I also just changed the trans fluid, differential fluid, and full oil and filter change.  All Synthetic fluids used.  I also just had the bed line-x'd with color matched material and it came out perfect!!  I also changed out the oil cooler hoses with the professional hoses and I have the same kit for the power-steering system for you to do.  Neither one of them leaked but these kits are the best you can get and the look really good.  It also has a new Die Hard Platinum Battery and K and N filter. One thing that is missing is the shift knob...but I put on a real, white Hurst Shift Ball...and to be honest thats what people say they like when they peak at the interior.  I have receipts for all the information I have just listed.  I love this truck and I haven't seen a better one out there as far as stock trucks go.  I just went to the Chrysler Nationals in PA and there wasn't one close.  Oh, I also have a high end covercraft custom car cover and a Covercraft Heavy Duty UV Shield window screen.

I just also got it Virginia safety inspected as well.  If you would like to talk to the Viper Tech at the dealer let me know and Ill pass his info to you.

If you are looking for a Silver 2004 Dodge Ram SRT 10 this is the one.  Full disclosure...Im making this a 10 day action mostly because Im in Law Enforcement and I travel for work and will be out of town for a short time.  If you win I expect a 500.00 Deposit withing 24 hrs of winning the action via pay pal so I know you are serious.  I will then expect the balance electronically transferred to my bank (USAA). So ten days from now is 12 Sep..so lets say the 13th is when you will find out you have won.  I would like to have the truck picked up on Sunday, 29 Sep.  That will give us about 10 bank days to make sure the money is there and everything is done officially and I don't get home until the 28th. It is a lot of money and Im sure a little time will make us both feel a little more secure.

PS.  If you are from a foreign country please don't tell me you are going to send me a check via your agent..and whoops...it was for too much and you want me to wire you money back. Also Im putting a reserve on the truck, please don't ask what it is, or put up a bogus high bid to see it either...this has happened to me before and I have asked EBAY to monitor this auction so it doesn't happen again.  My reserve is in line with what other 2004 SRT's have sold for so Im sure it wont be an issue.

Thanks for looking and know that Im a normal guy and Im hoping to help my brother find a new home for the truck and get it out of my garage...please contact me if you have any questions.  I love driving the truck....its so smooth and powerful and a pleasure to drive.

Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.

Driving the Jeep J6, Shakedown Challenger and other Mopar concepts

Wed, Sep 11 2019

Mopar has been a one-stop-shop for factory-backed performance modifications and accessories on FCA products for a long time now. You want a 707-horsepower engine for your old Plymouth Belvedere? Mopar has you covered with the Hellcrate. Maybe you want a lift and off-roading lights on that newly-bought Wrangler? Mopar can accommodate those wants (or needs, we don’t judge) as well. We get to see some of the companyÂ’s weirdest creations every now and then, but rarely do we get the opportunity to drive the FCA Mopar concepts. ThatÂ’s what made this past Woodward Dream Cruise so special: We got to rip some of MoparÂ’s finest and most recent creations up and down Woodward Avenue. Everything from a 1971 Challenger restomod to the brand-new Easter Jeep Safari J6 concept was in attendance, so letÂ’s get right to it. Mopar Woodward View 6 Photos 1967 Plymouth Hellvedere This car is near the pinnacle of what you can do with off-the-shelf Mopar purchases. It was only a humble 1967 Plymouth Belvedere before Mopar dropped the 707-horsepower supercharged V8 from the Hellcat into the engine bay. Sound ridiculous? Yeah, it is. Other parts of it are new as well, including the disc brakes. Good call. However, Mopar didnÂ’t remove the classic car charm from the entire driving experience. The steering, for example, is surely as slow and inaccurate as it was back in 1967. That doesnÂ’t help matters when youÂ’re trying to put 707 horsepower to the pavement with less-than-ideal rear rubber. Floor it in damn near any gear of the Tremec six-speed, and the front end rises straight up as the rear kicks sideways with the force of many mules. There are no electronics such as traction control or stability control to step in and wrangle the car into submission. But hey, who wants them, anyway? The question remains: Should you buy a Hellcrate engine for your classic? If money were no object, the easy answer is yes. Have at it so long as you love smoky burnouts and excessive amounts of horsepower. Just make sure you know how to deal with that much power before you stick your right foot in it.   Dodge Challenger Shakedown View 15 Photos 2016 Dodge Shakedown Challenger Concept WeÂ’re going downhill in horsepower with this restomod, but the drivability and ease of driving goes way up. Dodge showed this “Shakedown” concept at SEMA awhile back, and as with most concept cars, getting a chance behind the wheel is a special opportunity.
