Hello, I have a 2003 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Sport with the SLT package!! This is my daily driver and it's in amazing condition for its age, she's spotless. It has the 4.7L V8 engine in it with 171k on it but still has A LOT of power and life left on the engine. The truck has an AUTO transmission that shifts on point and never slips, it's solid and wont ever leave you stranded. I drive this with my family, I trust it. The truck was never plowed with or even used to tow. The Ram is 4x4 which engages smoothly and works great!! It also comes with the beautiful chrome 20in rims! (very rare on for 4.7L) ALSO HAS 4 BRAND NEW TIRES ON IT WITH THE COLORED LINES STILL ON!! The brakes are in good shape, doesn't wobble or make any noises Steering is amazing on this big truck, no play in steering whatsoever (feels like your steering a car). It drives in a straight line hitting the gas or braking with no hands on the wheel. The truck does have some dings and scratches on the paint from normal wear but still shines bright and turns heads with the bright red paint. I personally wash/wax and detail the entire truck every weekend. The interior is black with the cloth seats.. the drivers seat has a hole but I put new seat covers over the drivers and passenger seat. Interior is clean and well kept, doesn't smell or have odd stains or cigarette burns anywhere. ALL speakers, radio, powered windows, powered locks, powered/heated mirrors work. The heat and A/C works great. Doesn't have the typical dash crack. On the dash all gauges work correctly including the over hang outside temperature gauge! The truck has a valid NJ inspection sticker until 3/15. I love this truck, it's beautiful and I've gotten nothing but thumbs up on it and seeing heads turn, but looking for something smaller. Looking for $8,000.Give me a reasonable offer and we will work something out, the worst i can say is no. The truck has been nothing but great to me and always got the job done for me and my family. I'm not looking forward to selling it. Yes I will post pictures underneath, wheel wells, all 4 tires, engine, and interior. Selling "AS IS".. will not ship or deliver to anyone's house.  Thanks. -James 973-908-2348 call/text.

Autoblog's guilty pleasure cars

Tue, Mar 10 2015

Guilty pleasures are part of life – don't even try to pretend like you don't have one (or two, or six). In the non-automotive space, this could come down to that secret playlist in your iPhone of songs you'll only listen to when you're alone; or think of that one TV show you really do love, but won't admit to your friends. I've got plenty, and so do you. Going back to cars, here's a particularly juicy one for me: several years ago, I had a mad crush on the very last iteration of the Cadillac DTS. Oh yes, the front-wheel-drive, Northstar V8-powered sofa-on-wheels that was the last remaining shred of the elderly-swooning days of Cadillac's past. Every time I had the chance to drive one, I was secretly giddy. Don't hate me, okay? These days, the DTS is gone, but I've still got a mess of other cars that hold a special place in my heart. And in the spirit of camaraderie, I've asked my other Autoblog editors to tell me some of their guilty pleasure cars, as well – Seyth Miersma, as you can see above, has a few choice emotions to share about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Read on to find out what cars make us secretly happy. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG This decadent convertible is the epitome of the guilty pleasure. It's big, powerful, fairly heavy and it's richly appointed inside and out. It's a chocolate eclair with the three-pointed star on the hood. Given my druthers, I'd take the SL65 AMG, which delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. That output is borderline absurd for this laid-back convertible. I don't care. You don't need dessert. Sometimes you just crave it. The SL line is about the feel you get on the road. The roof is open. The air, sun and engine sounds all embrace you. It's the same dynamic you could have experienced in a Mercedes a century ago, yet the SL gives you the most modern of luxuries. An Airscarf feature that warms my neck and shoulders through a vent embedded in the seat? Yes, please. Sure, it's an old-guy car. Mr. Burns and Lord Grantham are probably too young and hip for an SL65. I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure. Release the hounds. – Greg Migliore Senior Editor Ford Flex I drove my first Flex in 2009 when my mother let me borrow hers for the summer while I was away at college. The incredibly spacious interior made moving twice that summer a breeze, and the 200-mile trips up north were quite comfortable.

Dodge engineers trying to shoehorn Pentastar into Dart?

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

The fact that the Dart's launch has been a pretty dismal affair isn't what we'd call secret. Judging by its mounting inventories and poor critical reception, Dodge's successor to its unloved Caliber has struggled since it hit the market. And while both of those are difficult problems to address, at least their cause is well known - the powertrain.
Even Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has acknowledged that the powertrain options in the Dart are substandard, admitting at January's Detroit Auto Show that the powertrains are "less than ideal." Leading with the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Fiat 500 Abarth left a bad taste in the mouths of consumers thanks to the laggy engine and dead throttle response (to say nothing of the manual and dual-clutch gearboxes that needed more refinement). The addition of the 184-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark in the Dart GT has helped matters some, but apparently Auburn Hills doesn't think it's quite enough.
If rumors are to be believed - get that salt ready - a possible solution may be in the works. A report from Allpar is claiming that Dodge is considering fitting a Pentastar V6 into the Dart's engine bay. As the Mopar-obsessed website points out, the critically acclaimed Pentastar is available in three different sizes - 3.0 liters, 3.2 liters and the original 3.6 liters. We don't get the 3.0 here in the US, but the 3.2 can be found in the new Jeep Cherokee and the 3.6 has been seemingly fitted to every model Chrysler can shoehorn it into.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn

Fri, Mar 27 2015

We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
