This is an auction for a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7L Hemi and automatic transmission. The truck is in good condition overall and has never been wrecked. There is some dings in the tail gate from where a chain popped loose and struck it during one of the few times it was used to tow with. It does have some minor scratches and what not that you would expect on a paint job that is now ten years old, but still looks great. It is a very pretty Gold color with metallic and shines nice when the sun hits it. The interior shows some wear on the drivers seat and has a small rip on the outside edge, but is in very good condition other then that. It has an after market sound system in it that sounds great. This truck has a ton of power and is very fast. I would not recommend it for a kid or new driver as it has to much power. This truck would clean up nicely, the pictures do not do it any justice and I guess I am in a bit of a hurry as I need to come up with the closing costs to by a house soon so don't have time to take better pics sand advertise it better. My loss is your gain, this truck is well worth the money and whoever buys it will be very happy with it. It has no known issues and just a few little cosmetic issues such as the tail gate dents ect. It only has 141K on itr and just about every mile is on pavement. With a 5.7L Hemi and tow package this trucks got plenty of power to get things done. The tires are 30' BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A's with 95% tread, or so I estimate. It has a clean title and is ready to go. This truck was just ran through the shop here in town and got new brakes and rotors and a tune up. Highest bidder pays shipping, good luck.
If you need more info, pics, ect please feel free to give me a call, this is one of about 300 old cars and trucks that I will be listing for a friend of mine who used to own a salvage yard, my number is 360-295-0886 (Sean) Vader Automotive. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime should I receive an acceptable offer as the car as it is for sale locally also. To help save the new owner some money we may be able to deliver the car anywhere in the US as well as to any shipping port of call for overseas buyers, however, ALL Shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer. We would be at a lot cheaper rate then the shipping companies, but will need fuel and expenses covered. Let me know what your looking for, we may just have it. Please don't call asking for parts, we do have a few that will be sold as parts cars but as a rule we don't sell parts. As I said above I will be listing several other classic project cars (and a couple restored ones) soon. a few of the are listed below, Thanks

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/videos]
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Darrell Waltrip once said, "If the lion didn't bite the tamer every once in a while, it wouldn't be exciting." The sentiment behind that aphorism is causing my adrenal gland to wake up as Dodge and SRT drivers and engineers - somber-faced to a man - give me the track talk that will precede my driving the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT on the circuit at Portland International Raceway. PIR might not be Daytona, and the 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat might seem tame to a legend like ol' Jaws, but there's a not-small part of me that's thinking about how hard Dodge's fire-breathing kitty might bite.
Just a few hours previous, I'd gotten behind the wheel of the Hellcat for the first time, letting its hyperbole-spitting, supercharged V8 Hemi pull me yieldingly through Portland's morning commuter traffic. Lulled into a cocky certainty by the Challenger's good manners at low speed, I drove the throttle just a hair too deep, too fast when I ran on to the highway ramp. For just an instant the rear tires were utterly drenched in torque, and the back end of the big Dodge loosened up like a drift car on a wet track. Throttle steer lives at the fleeting whim of your right foot in this car.
It was no big thing to lay off the gas and pull the Hellcat back in line as I entered the highway, but the incident did get me to thinking: What will this car do to me on a road course?
New Dodge Charger SRT Widebody likely teased in brief video
Wed, Jun 26 2019This morning, we saw a new, extremely brief teaser for a new version of the Dodge Charger SRT. We don't know exactly what the car is, but rumors and spy shots suggest that the big sedan could be getting the same treatment as the multiple Dodge Challenger widebody models. The teaser of course cuts just before you can see anything truly telling, but there are a few details we can glean. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the full reveal. The car appears to be painted B5 Blue, one of a number of knockout colors in FCA's portfolio. Through the cover we can see that the car gets the upgraded grille that we saw last summer. A pair of inlets helps feed more air into the engine bay. The lower intakes on the front bumper appear to be all new and much larger than anything else we've seen on the Charger so far. It's unclear what exactly that means, but it does give an already bold design an even more aggressive appearance. Over the past couple of years, Dodge revealed widebody versions of the Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye and the widebody only Dodge Demon. Each car is faster and more powerful than the last. The bulging fenders allow for a revised suspension setup, wider wheels and tires and a wider track for more stable handling. It makes an already big car even bigger, though you do get genuine improvements when it comes to performance handling.
Junkyard Gem: 1988 Dodge Aries America LE Station Wagon
Wed, Jan 9 2019During the late 1970s, Chrysler appeared doomed as outdated car designs and a second catastrophic oil crisis caused by Middle Eastern conflict hammered sales. Chrysler had some successful economy cars made by Mitsubishi or based on Simca designs, but the need for an efficient, modern front-wheel-drive platform grew desperate. After a government bailout in 1979 bought some time, CEO Lee Iacocca masterminded the creation of the all-new K Platform, which hit showrooms for the 1981 model year. The first two K-Cars, the Plymouth Reliant and Dodge Aries, were big sales successes, and Chrysler went on building vehicles based on the platform through 1995. Here's an example of the later Aries wagon, found in a Phoenix self-service wrecking yard. The "true" K-Cars were the Aries, the Plymouth Reliant, the Chrysler LeBaron, and the Dodge 400. They have become very rare in wrecking yards today, so I honor their historical significance by documenting the ones I find. During my junkyard expeditions, I have photographed this '81 Aries wagon, this '81 Reliant wagon, this '82 Aries wagon, this '82 400 coupe, this '82 LeBaron convertible, this '83 Aries sedan, this '83 LeBaron Town & Country wagon, this '85 LeBaron woodie convertible, this '86 Aries sedan, this '86 LeBaron Town & Country wagon, this '86 Reliant wagon, and this '89 Reliant coupe. The early K-Cars could be purchased with optional Mitsubishi Astron 2.6-liter four-cylinder (complete with "HEMI 2.6" badging), but in 1988, the choices were down to a 93-horsepower 2.2-liter Chrysler-built four-cylinder or a 2.5-liter version of the same engine rated at 96 horses and 13 extra pound-feet of torque. This car has the 2.2. The "America LE" trim level was the only one available for the 1988 Aries, and it resulted in a fairly Spartan car. Tough, scratchy cloth upholstery and lots of hard plastic were the order of the day. The MSRP on this car started at $7,695, or about $16,770 in 2018 dollars. That's a lot of car for that kind of money. For comparison, the rear-wheel-drive (and much bigger) 1988 Pontiac Safari wagon went for nearly twice that price. This content is hosted by a third party.
