2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 5.2l Only 122,000 Miles!! on 2040-cars
Bremen, Georgia, United States

Here is a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT. The truck has the 5.2L 318 V8 with an automatic transmission, and it only has 122,000 original miles on it. The body of the truck is in great shape. I recently had the hood repainted because the sun had baked the clear coat off of it. The tires on the truck are Wild Country Sport and have about 50% tread. It has chrome bed rails and step bars both in great condition. The truck has dual exhaust that sounds great going down the road. It has a factory bed liner from Dodge in good shape. The truck has a trailer hitch with light hookups as well. The interior of the truck is in great shape also. It has power windows, locks, seats, and side mirrors and they all work. The heat and air all work as they should. There is a new dash pad in the truck and it is a little different color as shown in the pictures but it does not look bad it is a coordinating color. There are a couple of stains on the backseat also shown in pictures and the overhead sunglass holder is broke and will not stay closed. Those are the only problems inside the truck. There are rips or tears in any of the seats or carpet. This truck was a new car trade in at our Chrysler Dodge dealership and has been taken great care of. It has been ran through our shop and anything that needs to be done is done before it is ever listed for sale. This is a nice truck that has not even been broken in good!!
This truck is also For Sale locally on our lot so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. You are more than welcome to come test drive and inspect this truck anyway you want before the end of auction or have someone do it for you. Georgia Residents will be required to pay sales tax on top of the winning bid as this truck belongs to a Licensed Used Car dealer here in Georgia. Thanks for looking and feel free to message for more questions |

Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
Dodge shows off the electric Charger, and is the Wrangler 392 done? | Autoblog Podcast #815
Fri, Jan 19 2024In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off with a roundup of the week's news, and of course the first photos of a pre-production electric Dodge Charger Daytona are the first topic. After that, the pair chat about the possible demise of the Jeep Wrangler 392 via a Final Edition meant for 2025 and ruminate on if they'd be up for buying one of the many Teslas that Hertz is offing from its rental fleet for cheap. Once the news is wrapped, the two move along to what they've been driving, starting with the first drive of the 2024 Acura TLX Type S. Then, they welcome our new Subaru WRX long-term test car and review both the Nissan Altima SL AWD and Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. Dodge Charger to slim down and run turbo four in next generation
Tue, May 31 2016The current Dodge Charger is getting long in the tooth. It was originally introduced in 2005 as a 2006 model. In car terms, that's an eternity, though it's been refreshed twice. Still, FCA US will keep the LX-generation car going, reportedly facelifting it one last time for 2019. After that, there are some bigger changes in store . Automotive News is reporting that the follower to the current LX Charger will lose almost 500 pounds and will once again offer a turbo four-cylinder. You might remember the front-wheel-drive four-banger Charger of the early '80s. The recharged sedan will be twin-turbo and it's going to use the 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine currently under development for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler, AN says. The target weight for the future car is around 3,500 lbs, while the current car has a curb weight of nearly 4,000 lbs. Look for it to arrive in the early 2020s. The new platform will have a touch of Italian flair instead of the Daimler-Benz flavor embedded deep inside the LX cars. It will be built on an extended version of the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia's "Giorgio" platform, according to AN. Dealers were already shown a styling-buck almost a year ago.
