Meet our Van lovingly referred to as "The Battle Wagon".  The battle wagon was our companies adventure wagon to take guests on bicycle, horseback riding, and wine tasting tours. As a company vehicle owned by a small mom and pop shop she has been well maintained as the cost of a break down or mechanical failure during a long distance tour could be tragic to the business. Recently she has been replaced by a new Ford E350 15 passenger and it's time to let her go. The van runs great, has a perfect title, its inspected with a 2015 sticker, there are no warning lights, tires are good. Just drive and go. You are welcome to take the van for a test drive or bring a mechanic to inspect. The engine is super strong, smooth and quit and starts instantly.  The pictures tell all-sure you'll find some scratches and nicks but the overall condition on the van is impressive.  It looks -dare I say- bad ass.  Just take a look at that engine- it's so clean you could lick it. No chance of hiding any leaks on this engine, it's all spotless.  Perfect work horse for your business, church, or taking on your own adventures.

UPGRADES: Reese Heavy Duty Tow package with powered breaking, Upgraded rear axle to Posi-traction for winter driving, Professionally tinted windows, Chrome wheels, CD player.

ITEMS THAT NEED ATTENTION: The dashboard fan switch only works on high and not low or medium. The dashboard is missing a vent. We've towed items with the van so we know the lighting works, but have never had a trailer with brakes, so we don't know if the braking feature works. Took off our vehicle magnet and the paint is dull under that spot-needs to be polished/compounded. The AC works, but only holds freon for a few months. This takes the type of freon you can add yourself, but we stopped bothering with it.

RECENT MAINTENANCE: In the past few months we- upgraded the rear axle to a posi-traction system, new rear tires, replaced a few brake lines, replaced the oxygen sensors, replaced both front ball joints, replaced front and rear shocks.

Vehicle is in Lake Hopatcong if you would like to take it for a spin.

Dodge Scat Packages add Mopar performance upgrades in three stages

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Dodge has revealed what it calls Scat Package Stage Kits that enhance the performance of the Charger and the Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter V8, and the Dart equipped with the turbocharged 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine. The Scat Packs use Mopar performance parts that also can be bought separately. Most of the upgrades increase engine output, but Dodge somehow manages to not specifically mention the power gains associated with each Scat Pack.
The three Scat Packs offered for the V8-powered cars focus on higher power ratings, and each stage comes complete with a unique engine-management calibration to optimize output. Stage one comes with a cold-air intake and a cat-back exhaust; stage two adds a performance camshaft; and stage three really gives you the goods, adding ported polished cylinder heads and performance headers.
For the Dart, the Scat Packs focus on engine, transmission, chassis and brake upgrades. Stage one will net you a cold-air intake, a short-throw shifter and slotted rotors with performance brake pads; stage two adds a cat-back exhaust system and an engine-management calibration to increase output by taking advantage of premium-octane gasoline; and stage three adds 13-inch vented brake discs up front clamped by four-piston calipers, suspension with adjustable springs and struts and performance front and rear antiroll bars.

Chrysler's Jefferson North plant builds 5-millionth SUV [w/video]

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant opened in 1992 for production of the first Jeep Grand Cherokee, but in the subsequent years, the Detroit plant has gone on to produce some of the company's biggest SUVs including the Jeep Commander and Dodge Durango. Earlier this week, the plant produced its five-millionth SUV, which, fittingly, was a Grand Cherokee.
Celebrating the plant's five-millionth unit, the silver 2014 Grand Cherokee was promptly donated to the USO. In addition to this milestone SUV, Chrysler also had a near-perfect 1993-95 ZJ Grand Cherokee on hand for the photo op. Scroll down for the Chrysler press release as well as a video showing some of the speeches from the celebration.

NHTSA investigating Chrysler for airbags, ignition switches

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

Chrysler is being targeted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a pair of actions that focus on over 1.2 million Jeeps, minivans and crossovers.
The first is a "preliminary investigation" that focuses on an airbag issue afflicting the Jeep Commander built in model years 2006 and 2007 and Grand Cherokee from 2005 to 2006. In total, 700,000 vehicles could potentially be affected. It's not entirely clear what the airbag issue is, with The Detroit Free Press simply stating that the restraint systems in the affected Jeeps may be "faulty."
The other investigation is what's called a "recall query" and it covers a problem that General Motors should be familiar with. In this case, there could be a problem with the ignition switches of 525,000 vehicles, ranging from 2008 to 2010 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, to the 2008 to 2010 Dodge Journey crossover. Again, it's not entirely clear what sort of behavior prompted the 32 complaints that NHTSA has received on these vehicles.
