1961 Dodge M37 with winch. This is a very solid truck that starts and runs fine. The drive train all works as it should. The engine sounds good and was running in all the pictures. The winch works nice and smooth and has about 150 feet of good cable on it. There are 2 very small rust spots, one under one headlight and the other in the bed of the truck near a wheel well. I believe both are shown along with my finger in the pictures. The electrical system is still the 24 volt waterproof system and works fine. Still has the foot starter. The whole truck is basicly stock. Tires tread is ok, but they are weather cracked. Gas tank had a leak at one time and was welded and re-sealed. All the gages work with the exception of the gas gage. All controls and gages are stock. Hand throtle, choke and vacuum wipers all work although the passenger wiper is slow. Passenger side door glass is cracked as shown in the picture. Even the undersides of the doors are rock solid. Top has a couple of small patches in it. Troop seats are usable as is but the wood is original and will need to be replaced at some point. The majority of the lights work but some may need to be looked at. I have never found any body work on this truck. Passenger seat has a rip. Tailgate is solid. Brakes work well, but may need bleeding as some point as it was in storage for many years. Emergency brake works well. If your close enough, stop by and take a look at it. There is NO TITLE as NH does not issue one for vehicles this old. I had to put something in the Title box above. It will be sold with a Bill Of Sale and a copy of the current NH registration. That is all you should need to register it in your state, but please check with with your DMV before bidding. I require a $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending by Paypal or ? and the balance in cash within 7 days. If you come to pick up the vehicle within 7 days and do not like what you see I will refund $300.00 of your deposit, no problem. Vehicle can stay here for up to 30 days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. Delivery may be available within a reasonable distance for a fee but please check with me BEFORE bidding. Ask all the questions you want BEFORE you bid. If you need more pictures just ask and I'll email them. Thanks for looking

2016 Dodge Viper ACR is ready to take a bite out of the Corvette Z06 [w/video]

Fri, May 8 2015

The Dodge Viper ACR is back, and as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles tells it, it's the most venomous breed ever born. Before you get too excited, the 8.4-liter V10 produces 645 horsepower; five more than the standard Viper and five less than the supercharged Chevrolet Corvette Z06. It's unclear why Dodge didn't extract more from the huge engine, although we somehow imagine that certain people in Maranello, Italy had a say in the matter. Instead of blessing the ACR variant with bunches of extra output, Dodge instead turned to an aggressive aerodynamics package that it claims delivers nearly a ton of downforce at the Viper's maximum speed of 177 miles per hour. The total aero package includes an adjustable, twin-element, carbon-fiber rear wing, carbon-fiber diffuser, an extendable front splitter, and dive planes. Those big louvers on the hood? Yeah, they're removable, too. The "race-tuned" suspension uses coil-over Bilstein shocks that offer ten different settings and up to three inches of height adjustment. Kumho Ecsta V720 tires were built specifically for the Viper ACR, and come in 355/30 in back and 295/25 in front, with 19-inch wheels at all four corners. Along with the aero improvements, Dodge is claiming the Viper can pull a race-car-like 1.5Gs in higher-speed turns. Carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers add the stopping power that's greater or equal to the ACR's cornering performance. Dodge was also keen to reduce weight, taking some rather dramatic measures in the effort. The stereo has just three speakers, while the electric function was removed from the seats. Even the carpet has been replaced with a "lightweight" alternative. Finally, Dodge is offering up the innovative 1 of 1 customization it pioneered with the Viper GT earlier this year. That means that not only can you get the fastest Viper ever built, but it'll be entirely your own when you take delivery.

The Dodge Neon is coming back... to Mexico

Tue, Mar 15 2016

It's been a long time since we've seen a new Dodge Neon putt-putting around. But soon it will be back, and in North America, too, if you want to get technical about it. But this time, the Neon will be limited exclusively to Mexico. According to Ward's Auto, FCA is planning to import the Fiat Tipo to Mexico, but rebadged under the Dodge brand and with the Neon nameplate on the trunk... even if it doesn't have those signature round headlights, or a three-speed automatic transmission. Never heard of the Fiat Tipo? It debuted almost a year ago as the Aegea Project, and went into production shortly thereafter – similarly called the Egea in Turkey where it's made, but the Tipo in other European markets. It's a budget-oriented, C-segment compact with a range of four-cylinder engines, and though designed from the get-go as a four-door sedan, it rolled into Geneva last month in hatchback and wagon forms as well. The Tipo is built at the Tofas plant in Bursa, Turkey, alongside the Fiat Doblo – which is also shipped over to North America, rebadged as the Ram ProMaster City. In the Mexican market, FCA also sells the Fiat Siena sedan as the Dodge Vision, the Mitsubishi Mirage rebadged as the Dodge Attitude, and the Fiat Strada as the Ram 700 – all nameplates exclusive to our neighbors to the south. Whatever its origin, it'll be interesting to see a Neon again the next time we venture South of the Border – particularly considering that the Neon was arguably the last time that Chrysler had a competitive compact on its hands. The Caliber that followed never gained the same kind of traction, so to speak, and FCA recently ceased production (for the time being at least) of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 to focus on larger trucks crossovers – the likes of which the Caliber tried to emulate (in style, if not in substance).

Dodge, Hyundai crowdsourced-funding sites deemed successes

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

What's not to love about crowdsourcing? This idea, after all, has given us Kickstarter as well Local Motors, but automakers are starting to use the social platform to sell more cars (or just drum up a little PR). Both Dodge and Hyundai have used "crowd-funding" recently, and while Automotive News is reporting that neither has racked up big sales with this gimmick, both automakers are pleased with the attention.
For Hyundai, it teamed up with website Motozuma.com to help customers crowdsource money for a down payment, and the automaker matched this amount up to $500. Last year, this helped Hyundai sell an extra 1,600 units, a fraction of its total 2012 sales. That figure is far larger than Dodge fared with the Dodge Dart Registry - it netted only two sales and a small number of individual options. This registry did help University of Southern California fraternity crowdsource $18,000 to buy a Dart for a local Meals on Wheels, however. Despite the low sales figures, Dodge and Hyundai are considering their crowdsourcing programs a success since it helped them connect with younger buyers.
