Here is a super rare 1959 Dodge Power Wagon W300. This is what they call a POWER GIANT. Really cool old truck, it is 4 wheel drive. It has a correct 9 foot stepside bed on it, the truck is from Colorado really solid, there is a place on the passenger side floor board that will need some patching, but there is no cancer rust on the body that i have seen it is really really solid, cab corners are good, above the windshield is good firewall is good. The frame has been blasted and painted black. The front sheetmetal is just sitting on it(that will explain the gaps in the pictures), i can bolt it on if you have it transported.I bought this truck to do a cummins conversion on it, just dont have the time to do it. it has a non original 318 poly V8, it ran when i got it, i was not worried about the motor, since it was not original and i was going to convert it anyway, it can run if you want it too. I have an extra set of front fenders to go with it because they are hard to find. it will be a great candidate for restoration or conversion, it is really really RARE! I have more pictures if you want to see something specific please ask and i will send the pictures too you. if you have any questions, please let me know and i will answer them to the best of my ability, if you have something to trade, let me know. Thanks for looking!

Will airbags sandbag the 2017 Dodge Viper?
Thu, Jan 14 2016The Dodge Viper is speeding down the road to cancellation for the 2017 model year, and at least part of the reason for the V10 monster's death is a problem fitting it with federally mandated side curtain airbags. An anonymous source close to FCA US told Motor Trend the automaker can't install the parts because they would further limit the coupe's already tight headroom. The government believes the side curtain airbags can reduce occupant ejections during accidents, and all vehicles must have them for the 2017 model year. The Viper's slow sales also don't provide FCA US much motivation to work out a solution to this problem. The automaker moved just 676 of the handmade sports coupes in the US in 2015, which was down 11 percent from 760 deliveries in 2014. FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne hinted at the Detroit Auto Show that the Viper could return eventually. He doesn't like that the current model has a dedicated platform but indicated a new one could share the underpinnings with another of the company's products. Marchionne's current business plan for FCA stresses building the automaker's value, so it might be a while before we see the sweater-clad CEO focusing on a niche vehicle like the Viper. Has Dodge stepped in it again with Scat Pack lawsuit?
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Lawsuits are an unfortunate part of doing business in just about any industry, so the latest complaint filed by a California-based aftermarket firm against Chrysler would seem to be nothing more than business as usual. But this isn't the first time the two companies have sparred over this particular issue.
According to a report from Automotive News, the dispute revolves around the Scat Pack name that Chrysler first offered on the Charger, Coronet, Dart and Super Bee starting in 1968. Scat Enterprises, a manufacturer of crankshafts and other components for Dodges and other vehicles, sued Chrysler for using its name. A few years later the Scat Pack disappeared from the Dodge catalog.
Fast forward to August 2013 when Chrysler applied to register the Scat Pack name anew. The US Patent and Trademark Office turned down Chrysler's application, but the automaker proceeded anyway, unveiling new Scat Packs for the Challenger, Charger and Dart at last year's SEMA show.
